“My family enjoyed a take-out meal last night from Sula Wok. I would describe it as incredibly tasty, evocative flavours, large portion sizes and generally a fantastic gastronomical delight! The chicken samosas were the best I have had anywhere in Ottawa, in short - awesome. The mango-ginger sauce for the samosas was also exceptional. My entrèe was the Tibetan Fried noodles with tofu. The portion was generous and carefully prepared. The spices were delightful, the vegetables were fresh, plentiful and throughout the meal rather than just placed on top. Every bite was delicious. Thank you Sula Wok for the best take-out meal I have enjoyed in years! I highly recommend this restaurant. It definitely deserves a five star rating.“

“We dined in this restaurant last week. We came here because of its reputation of fruit wood smoked dishes. We ordered fruit wood smoked chicken, fruit wood smoked pork intestines, and BBQ. The BBQ items were well seasoned and flavored, the fruit wood smoked dishes did have a distinctive flavor and taste, they were good, but not exactly what I had in mind, just didn't meet my expectation. “The second we stepped in the restaurant we were welcomed by the flagrant smell of lemongrass and shrimp so we had to order the Tom Kha soup with the spicy hot and sour broth. For second I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli and my son asked for
Thai Royal noodle with grilled shrimp skewers.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a free spring roll with the soup. The Tom Kha was very nice, just a little spicy but it had a little too much tofu for my like.
The Thai Royal noodle came with rice noodles tossed in basil sauce so it was green and a
healthy choice for the health conscious mind.
We finished our lunch (on Jan 29th. 2025)
with a delicious cheese cake.
For all of this nice lunch in a quiet and pleasant restaurant we payed $52.40…
T-basil in Orleans is an excellent choice for delicious Thai cuisine and there is plenty of free parking spaces.
