“I very rarely eat at food kiosks in a mall, but yesterday I was starving. Chose a place that wasn't frying the food. Shawarma Centre was my choice and was I ever pleased. Fresh ingredients, wonderful and friendly staff. Couldn't choose between beef or chicken, but then I noticed you could get a combo for a bit more. The pita was beautifully done on the grill. The meat was moist and wonderfully seasoned. I was unable to finish and had it for my supper. I'll return you can bet on that.

Vegetarian options: The usual pickles, marinated turnip lettuce, tomatoes etc. And the garlic sauce and tzatziki were very tasty.“

Went there yesterday (Sunday) and the restaurant was very packed - which is to be expected at breakfast time on a Sunday. We only had about a 15 minute wait though.

My dining companion's food came out hit and fresh and delicious, while mine looked as if it had been sitting for awhile. The eggs and potatoes were both overdone, which is unusual for this location and this particular dish.

Overall the experience wasn't bad, but not up to my usual dining experience here. Usually it would be 5 stars, but this time it was just okay.

I would recommend coming around lunch time on a week day.“

“From someone who has tried every pizza pizza chain from all over GTA to Montreal and Pembroke to Ottawa this Pizza Pizza is consistently amazing. I love how thin their pizza is and I just tried the stuffed crust which is OK but nothing to rave about. I also love their app! Very easy to navigate and I love how you can pay through the app and earn money towards pizza with club 11-11. I was able to redeem $5 in dough for my order which helped alot.“

This place is stealth. It looks like a little convenience store but packs a punch. Lots of meat and toppings on the sandwiches. Thick Italian buns and generous with the toppings.

“Went to Fatboys for the first time tonight and it won’t be our last. After waiting for a seat we were met by the owner who welcomed us and told us we would enjoy the food and he wasn’t wrong we had the Kentucky shared platter and it was definitely filling and the price was affordable. Our server was Emma who filled our drinks and told us what food was coming and what dips were available. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Will definitely be back“

“Stayed at the hotel for Christmas and it was great. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable. The shower was great and loved the quality of the toiletries and products provided. The rooms are also very quiet, I knew the room beside was occupied but I never heard anything. The staff was nice, helpful, kind. The restaurant is fantastic! Only downside, there is no pool or spa. But, I will definitely be returning in my future travels.“

“I ordered a steak medium. It came medium rare. She offered to put it back on the grill for me but I declined because the steak was already a little tough and I didn't want it to be tougher. My friend had her steak well done and she had trouble chewing but - well done steak - I didn't expect any different. The gravy was way to salty and hard to eat. The server was great, she left us alone and let us talk, filling out drinks when needed. We did have to track her down at the end for the bill but she got very busy and we were there a long time. I would recommend this place just not the steak. We both had cheesecake for dessert and took some home.“

The cake and donuts tasted like heaven! My youngest child had a donut and said "These donuts were blessed by God!" I could not agree more! I've never tasted such delicious donuts! The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked! I've been on a strict diet for the past few months and have so been looking forward to indulging on my birthday! “This place is truly one of a kind—unforgettable, in the best way. As visitors from out of town, we immediately wished we had somewhere like this back home, especially one that opens this early. Their breakfast, brunch, and lunch portions are just right: enough to keep you full and energized without feeling heavy.

The standout for me was the café au lait—milk coffee, or Milchkaffee in German. Paired with their breakfast options—bacon, cheese, eggs, or any of their fresh sandwiches—it was perfect. We even grabbed a bag of day-old scones (half a dozen) for the three of us on the way out, which was half price and still delicious.

The whole experience was exquisite. If you’re in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We only wish something like this existed in Calgary, Alberta.

And one more thing: they sell farm-fresh jams in jars, and they are every bit as divine as the place itself.“

The cupcakes were great, very moist and tasty. The cocoa was also very good. We found the London Fog's brand of tea a bit bitter, but otherwise it was good.
The person that served us was friendly and efficient.
Bring cash for tips as their POS machine doesn't give that option.“

“This is an great place located in downtown Ottawa. Patty's Pub has good food and good service. Our fish and chips were rather thin and I suggest to get the two piece. The nacho's were over done as you can see by the photos. Service was good with our wait staff overly busy unfortunately. The decor of the restaurant could use an upgrade. Overall it's a good place to have a quick bite and a good beer.“
