“I like taking my daughter to the Barley Mow (stittsville is our go to but almonte is a favorite drive)... We went tonight. Dinner for 2 plus 2 non alcoholic drinks (I was driving us) came to $44 taxes in. We go there all the time so I gave a nice tip. The owner/manager and staff are amazing. And the new menu *(after covid limited menu) is really fantastic. We are trying something new every time. Tonight I tried chicken tacos and she had a huge bowl of poutine. Both were amazing. Deffo recommended! (Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the dishes, my phone was near dead and I needed it to pay as I forgot my purse but they then charged my phone for me!!)“

“Kudos on an improvement in the veggie pizza! There was a noticeable difference compared to the same in the past. It was well cooked, well loaded with ingredients and, as always, not greasy. The box felt heavier than usual, so we presume there was more cheese. Whatever the reason for improvement: corporate change or staff change, we LOVED it. Thank you!“

“I would like to take the time to really praise this location. They deserve a big shout out and I can't say enough great things about them. I had a really great experience overall with this restaurant. Initially, we had a hiccup with our order. Not only was this resteraunt so quick and attentive to a customer reaching out, they went above and beyond to make it up to us and have us happy and feeling like valued customers. I really have to praise this level of customer service and care for customers. You don't always encounter that with some resteraunts in my past experience, so it was such a pleasant surprise. A big shout out to Younis and his team for working hard and being dedicated to what they do and serving their customers. We loved the food and service. The pizza's come with good fresh toppings and a good helping of cheese! Delivery was quick as well. We will definitely be repeat customers as we feel we found our new pizza place! “Stopped in here for a dinner. Didn’t seem very busy and we have had good experiences before with Kelsey’s. The proximity to shopping after dinner was a factor.

We arrived and were sat immediately. The server for our section seemed harried and I am quite patient knowing what service jobs are like but… overall it took 40 minutes to get our app, and it was cold - had obviously been sitting in the window a little. I asked for our mains to come out as soon as they were ready and it was astounding to see them within 2 to 3 minutes further cementing the fact our app was sitting.

I don’t wish to needle our server - he was very busy taking care of the two tables in our section and the entire patio (at least it seemed that way). He had some food runners that helped out but only after I semi complained about wait times did I see a second server come in to assist in the section at a new table that had been sat. I don’t blame our server for the poor service in this case but a perceived lack of teamwork from the other servers.

As we left I made a point of looking around to see what the general busy-ness was and saw a grand total of less than 10 tables throughout the restaurant with people in various stages of dinner, servers seemed busy and hostess greeted us as we left. The patio wraps around the corner of the building so I couldn’t see all of it but it was the busiest part of the restaurant.

Teamwork and perhaps a restructuring of section division would have made our experience so much better. I would hate to see how service is when they are busy!

Lost story short- cold apps, harried server, long wait for service, good food but overall generally disappointing

“I have used The Baker In Pajamas for several of my children's birthday cakes, so when my wedding cake baker had to cancel at the last minute, I didn't hesitate to reach out to her.
Not only was she incredibly helpful with such a last-minute request, but she also did an amazing job. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better than it looked! My guests couldn't stop complimenting it, and some even went back for third and fourth servings.

“This small restaurant makes the best Indian food. Their Malai Kofta is out of this world! Their garlic naan is so tasty. Every time we go out meal is fantastic. Don't be fooled by their outdated decor because this place is fantastic.“

“We decided to try Greek on Wheels on Hazeldean Rd for the first time last night. I picked up order and found that we had the wrong order when arriving home. I called them and the gentleman who answered said he realized I had the wrong order after I left. I returned with the order I was originally given and when I walked through the door the chef had my order ready for me and apologized saying that I could keep the wrong order ($40.00) and take the correct order (60.00) at no extra cost. That's $100.00 worth of food for $40.00. It was pretty hard to be upset after that.
The portions are huge and delicious. We love to support local so we will be ordering from Greek on Wheels in the future! Great food and service!“

“This place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just dropping by for the view. The marina is well-kept, and the sunsets over the water are gorgeous. I like how the clubhouse has decent food and a casual patio. Downsides? It’s not super beginner-friendly unless you’re joining a program, and parking can be tight during events. Still, it’s a solid spot to unwind by the water or get out on a boat.“
