Food is excellent and Service is awesome!
I am Peruvian born, married to a Peruvian woman, living in Aylmer for 27 years. I have visited Amazonas more than 50 times. Good portions, really authentic Peruvian cuisine. If you want to have a taste of the amazing Peruvian recipies, do not hesitate. I strongly recommend you discover this real jewel in Aylmer, no need to travel to south america for this amazing food.
An unassuming exterior (an former house) hids a solid eatery, with great food and quick service. I can't compare it to 'real' Peruvian food, but this was delicious. Green rice, tamales, empanadas - all great. Service was quick (though admittedly, only one other table of their twelve or so was occupied). Not the fanciest of places, but just great food prepared by a family who obviously loves what they're doing. We'll be back.
