Amo Gelato Caffe offers superb gelato quality in a cozy setting. Customers recommend trying the pistachio and biscoff flavors, as well as the chocolate strawberry. The service, environment, and food are wonderful, leaving many impressed. It is some of the best ice cream in all of Ontario, with a texture remarkably similar to gelato in Italy. The lemon ice cream and pistachio are the best outside of Sicily. They also sell family-size containers for take-home. It is a little pricey to start but a 3 scoop cone is only $2 more than a single scoop. The friendly staff and fair prices make this cafe a delightful stop on Locke Street for a taste of Italian perfection. Parking is available a short walk away.
