Berkeley North offers a great dining experience with excellent service. The dumplings and carrots stood out, while some dishes felt heavy. The eggplant teriyaki was original and delicious, and the trout was well-cooked but oily. The restaurant brings a creative, seasonal flair to downtown Hamilton, with a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere and a focus on local ingredients and visual presentation. The team is friendly and professional, making guests feel at home. The Mushroom Dumplings were a highlight, rich and savory with just enough chili oil kick, while the Tuna Crudo with citrus ponzu was light and refreshing. The Rainbow Trout was well-cooked, flavorful, and simply satisfying. Surprisingly good crispy fries added to the enjoyable experience. The Tuna Crudo is a new favorite, and the Gnocchi and Corn Ribs are must-try dishes. The service is great and prompt, with a friendly and professional team. The atmosphere is great, and the prices are fairly reasonable.
