Rooney's is a bright, welcoming neighborhood café with friendly and knowledgeable service. The café features an eclectic mix of work from local artists and writers, and offers terrific coffee and tea options, including Maple Lattes and Roobois tea. Freshly baked croissants and cookies are available, and there is a nice collection of books and magazines. Matcha and bagel were both delicious. While seating is limited, with options including a large table, a tiny kids table, and an armchair, the café can get loud. Located off Main street, Rooney’s hosts events like local markets, live music, and artist talks, supporting local artists with photo galleries. Parking is available on nearby side streets, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
