All the flights we tried were stellar, the glory bowl was out of this world, and we couldn’t decide which was better, the rainbow trout tacos or beef brisket tacos. Delicious! “We arrived around 7pm on a beautiful Wednesday night and it was a bit busy. We were able to get a table quickly and were told that the kitchen was a little backed up but if we didn't mind spending time together at the table we would be fine. Absolutely, no problem. We were actually greeted by our server quickly and she took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer. We always carry along a deck of cards so we played a card game while we waited. In all honestly the time to wait for our appetizer was no longer than usual at any other restaurant. We ordered our meal and the same thing, we honestly didn't feel like it was any longer than normal. The chicken fajita salad was amazing, seriously I'm still thinking about it. My husband got the 10pc wing special and he said they were some of the best wings he had, especially with their price. Our kids had burgers and fries and they enjoyed their meal too. We were visiting Huntsville so this is not our usual spot, but when we come back to visit again we would not hesitate to return. Thanks for a wonderful dinner after our busy day!”

“We held our staff holiday party in the Tasting Room within the Canvas Brewery. The staff (Erin and Tay) could not have been more friendly and helpful. “I just want to say how fabulous my experience is every time I go into The Great Vine. No matter who has helped me, they have been super knowledgeable and I can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Big thank you to Catherine who has been and continues to be amazing. I can tell she genuinely cares. She takes time to answer my questions and makes suggestions based on my needs and explains why she’s suggesting it. I also want to add that I love Sarah’s daily stories on social media. I look fwd to them and seeing products they have and things I may want to try. “My family had come from Ottawa to spend the weekend. There were 17 of us in total. I had requested the patio, not only is that exactly where we were sat, there was no wait, and they were ready for us. The food, oh the delicious food! Never a disappointment, a melody of flavours blended with delight. It came out all at once and hot!! AND each meal was placed in front of the right person. The service was impeccable, glasses were topped up constantly under the hot August sun. Our servers were AMAZING! They even managed to get the bills split into families and not one item was out of place. Hats off to That Little Place By The Lights! You truly outdid yourselves. Thank you!”

“Food with WOW factor. I had the blackened Cajun shrimp stuffed with crab and wrapped in pea bacon with a handmade pasta with roasted vegetables and a delectable basil cream sauce. To Die For! Another stand out point to mention is that the portion size was not small like some fine dining places offer. The portion was so big that I had some to take home! The service was excellent and it was also really nice to see the owner going around to tables checking on his guests as well as making drinks and running them to the tables!!!!!”

“Their potato wedge poutine and chicken fingers were a hit with our dancers and repeat order on our weekend in Huntsville. The veggie wrap was amazing!! We had the best server Kota! We were in town for a dance competition and she was so incredibly accommodating taking our orders and letting us pay right away as we were on a tight schedule. So happy she was our server twice this weekend!”

“I really like popeye's chicken but the last 2 times I have been to the drive through the chicken doesn't seem to be the same quality as before. It is usually hot and crispy and very moist chicken, but it was lukewarm at best and kind of chewy. I also had to pay an extra dollar for honey barbecue sauce on the side when they're known for their assorted dips that come with your order. Disappointing :(

“Look, it’s chucks. It’s a 5 star in all our hearts but we all know someone with the stature that I have, can’t rate this place a 5 star. This place is home to some of the most globally known nights in all of Ontario. #1 being DJ Cam Swizzy putting on an absolute RAVE in chucks. A night to remember for all of muskoka and someting I will tell my kids abt at the bonfire. THIS is chucks roadhouse.

You need to strategize before you come here. If it’s a Wednesday, you start pre’ing at east side Mario’s at 7pm, then at 8pm you up the anti and take Al’s taxi to the Moose bar and grill. At 9pm, for the main event, you grab your keys and drive to the main character factory, CHUCKS ROADHOUSE. Boom, half priced apps and lager so cheap you forget that you can’t cover rent for the month.

Bang, it’s 2am, grab your keys again and head to the AP. It’s in the Canadian tire parking lot where you and your boys just redline your big bossed up pickup rigs. Once 3am hits, you call your boss and tell him/her that you run this town and you don’t need the job anymore. Remember, this is gods country. 4am you get a text from your ex wanting you back, you start crying abt how she didn’t like your truck but realistically you can get over it so you take her back. You pass out in your truck in the parking lot and then wake up with 99.5 moose fm playing.

You remember that you have no job now but at least you have your ex back who doesn’t like your truck. You take a swig of that warm Busch in your cupholder and get on hwy 11 not knowing where life is gonna take you next.

This is why CHUCKS is the spot to be. You never know what kind of night you’re going to get from it, but you know that it will be a night to remember.”
