“Went to tall trees tonight to celebrate my birthday. The pesto cream pasta was absolutely amazing. The best tastiest pasta I’ve ever tasted. The flat bread was also very tasty. The crème brûlée was perfect. The Caesar salad has the best dressing on it. Always a tasty meal. Randy is so talented and does a wonderful job along with all the lovely friendly staff. The dessert made my birthday dinner special with the cupcake design on the plate and candle. Definitely recommend tall trees it is the best.”

“The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish I tried/ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the francesinha à porto and the Portuguese style chicken with a side of hot sauce. If I could come here 7 days a week I would 5 stars all day definitely on my list of best Portuguese restaurants and lastly for desert definitely highly recommend the Creme brulee & Cookie cake. The dishes I had on my visits were as shown

• Bread with ( Olive spread & Peri-Peri Sauce 5 star sauce!
•Flaming Portuguese Sausage
•Grilled Calamari
•Portuguese Style Chicken (Packed with amazing flavor)
• Bitoque ( 8oz Angus Steak with a fried Egg peppercorn gravy sauce I paried it up with Mashed Potatoes & Veggies) Also if you're big on French fries this place won't disappoint you!
•6pc of amazing fresh Oysters asked for the Peri-Peri sauce instead of Tobasco!
•Portuguese Styled Shrimp ( I got mine with their homemade peri-peri sauce highly recommend!)
•Creme Brulee
•Cracker Cake
Also if you're a fan of Espresso Martini's ask for one with Teauila instead of vodka (thank me later!)
Hands down the best Restaurant in town!

Lastly the staff are amazing 10/10 service, the chef is hands down 10/10, presentations of every dish the flavor of all the dishes were all spot on specially the portions given to you are more then generous and fair you can't go wrong at all.

Honestly if you don't like the food I personally believe it's just you haha! Hope this review makes you visit Portuguese House and enjoy the amazing Portuguese Cuisine!!

“We arrived around 7pm on a beautiful Wednesday night and it was a bit busy. We were able to get a table quickly and were told that the kitchen was a little backed up but if we didn't mind spending time together at the table we would be fine. Absolutely, no problem. We were actually greeted by our server quickly and she took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer. We always carry along a deck of cards so we played a card game while we waited. In all honestly the time to wait for our appetizer was no longer than usual at any other restaurant. We ordered our meal and the same thing, we honestly didn't feel like it was any longer than normal. The chicken fajita salad was amazing, seriously I'm still thinking about it. My husband got the 10pc wing special and he said they were some of the best wings he had, especially with their price. Our kids had burgers and fries and they enjoyed their meal too. We were visiting Huntsville so this is not our usual spot, but when we come back to visit again we would not hesitate to return. Thanks for a wonderful dinner after our busy day!”

“Came to eat here today hoping for something different and our expectations were exceeded. All the flights we tried were stellar, the glory bowl was out of this world, and we couldn’t decide which was better, the rainbow trout tacos or beef brisket tacos. Delicious! Oh & our server Jay, was a total gem! A wonderful addition to the already welcoming atmosphere.”

“My family had come from Ottawa to spend the weekend. There were 17 of us in total. I had requested the patio, not only is that exactly where we were sat, there was no wait, and they were ready for us. The food, oh the delicious food! Never a disappointment, a melody of flavours blended with delight. It came out all at once and hot!! AND each meal was placed in front of the right person. The service was impeccable, glasses were topped up constantly under the hot August sun. Our servers were AMAZING! They even managed to get the bills split into families and not one item was out of place. Hats off to That Little Place By The Lights! You truly outdid yourselves. Thank you!”

“Been here several times and always impressed at the quality of the beer. Great basics - Blonde, Kolshe, amber etc (I like darker beers myself and the stout was great) but they also do a great job with some original ideas - the Lemon Lager is outstanding on a summer patio, and the dessert stout on Nitro was fantastic this winter.

Ordered two burritos and a bowl, and the workers were very caring and asked many questions to ensure we had everything we needed in our order. The meal was delicious and hearty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area, one of the best Quesada locations I’ve been to.

Dietary restrictions: The location has a vegan sauce called “Paprika Mayo” which was delightful to try as many places do not have vegan sauce options for burritos. Very nice accommodation.”

“We come here ever summer and love it. Finding a good truck that can offer their full menu for someone with celiac disease is hard, and they do it effortlessly! The sandwiches are second to none and definitely worth the trip. For added enjoyment, get them to go and head up to Lions Lookout for a scenic picnic.”

We were in town for a dance competition and she was so incredibly accommodating taking our orders and letting us pay right away as we were on a tight schedule. “Food with WOW factor. I had the blackened Cajun shrimp stuffed with crab and wrapped in pea bacon with a handmade pasta with roasted vegetables and a delectable basil cream sauce. To Die For! Another stand out point to mention is that the portion size was not small like some fine dining places offer. The portion was so big that I had some to take home! The service was excellent and it was also really nice to see the owner going around to tables checking on his guests as well as making drinks and running them to the tables!!!!!”

“Not a vegan place but most of their cakes/scones were vegan and several vegan ice cream options too. The cakes were so good! We loved the hot drinks and grabbing a sweet treat to eat on the docks. We visited so many times during our week stay and the staff were so lovely”

“I typically use the drive thru at this location. Staff is always polite and friendly. Food is hot and made to order. We like the chicken sandwiches and occasionally have to wait in front of the restaurant in my vehicle while they prepare my order. Sometimes it is a bit of a wait, but I appreciate not being served old food that has been sitting around. I miss Popeyes' red beans and rice.”

“8 of us fellas, away on a golf trip attended the Huntsville Chuck’s yesterday for dinner. We arrived without a reservation and were promptly greeted and seated at a table for 8 that was quickly created for us. Our server introduced herself and took care of our drink and food orders. Both the food and drinks were great, as was the atmosphere in the restaurant. What stood out to all of us was that our exceptional experience was created by our server Elise, who was friendly, efficient and professional in her dealings with us. Her positive attitude and quick witted sense of humour were welcomed and very much appreciated. Chuck’s Huntsville, you are very fortunate to have Elise on your staff.
