“We stopped in at Humble Beginnings for the first time. We loved the wood tables, all the merch but the star was their beer… local and fantastic. I enjoyed the Lost Villages Farmhouse Ale. It was clean, crisp and very refreshing on one of the last of the warm summer days. The hostess was so friendly and kind. Made us feel very welcome. oh! They are BIG charity supporters. They devote all tips to Cystic Fibrosis research. They also have a beer with all proceeds going to that charity: Cystic Fibrosis Brewski! Great craft brewery. We definitely recommend stopping here for a refreshing brew. ?”

“The menu is excellent and the food is well-crafted yet the service is cozy and friendly. The chef has created a balanced experience with every dish we have tried so far and the pastries are as enormous as they are delicious. The staff is friendly and super courteous while the decor is inviting and the atmosphere is like youre sitting down with friends. Wether you wanna sit down, pick up or grab something for the runtheyve got it. They also have great pup-cakes for the pooches that my dogs loved. 10/10 would recommend!”

“I’ve been twice now and ate in and on the patio. I had some delicious food. The restaurant is beautifully designed. Patio is definitely a great choice with a view of the water. It feels like more of a restaurant than a brewery. We’re going to look into possibly renting the place as a venue as well.”

“The Hayden’s are wonderful people who run and operate the Massena DQ. Our mom, Shirley Michaud has worked for the Haydens for many years and they are definitely the kindest, most generous, people to our mom. At 84 years old, Mom continues to make the DQ cakes and specialty items and she lives to work. “As a Canadian trying Jrek for the first time - I would say it’s a bit better than Subway. The staff at this location had to be the most adorable team. They knew everyone that came in and addressed them all as hun or sweetheart which was so cute to see. They had a ton of staff working so there was no wait. The meat was really well seasoned and was a good portion size. My only disappointment is it’s very messy and gets very moist in the foil they wrap it in. I walked a minute to my car - opened both sandwich’s up and they were already soaked and sloppy. Had I waited 20 minutes I think the bread would have just been sog and meat. None the less will probably try again but maybe a cold sub this time.”

“I went there yesterday (10/11) around 5pm. Amazing service! I was traveling all day and stopped to grab a few things and was very hungry. The guy that was making the food was fast, really friendly and gave the best service I’ve ever had at a subway. His name was Addison I believe, best sub ever, perfectly crafted and very fast. I felt welcome and appreciated as soon as I stepped up. 10/10 best subway experience ever.”

“I got the works calzone - a medium. I Huuuuge! Would love it if you made personal sized ones that are small. I gotta watch my waistline. I will say I was really impressed with the quality and flavors - absolutely delicious. There is a mixture of ricotta and mozzarella inside the calzone with different veggies. The calzone crust stayed crispy for at least a half hour and didn’t get soggy. So far best Italian food I’ve had in the North Country. People appreciate it when a restaurant today actually makes really good food.”

“My son and I have eaten here a few times. Excellent diner food at reasonable prices. I had the open face turkey sandwich with fries. My son had lasagna. They make the fries fresh, which is hard to find these days.

We didn't have dessert on this day, but the apple pie at Via Main is some of the best you'll ever have. I can't recommend it enough.
