“Even though I ordered delivery, the food was fresh and delicious. It was well packed and got to me promptly. The prices are decent, and the portions are really good. Overall a good value, and I’m sure it is even better as dine in!

“I just had the nicest lunch today at The Sushi Chef. I am a regular takeout customer. I usually get a takeout maki lunch special three or four times a month. The food is amazing!! Better than any sushi place I’ve ever been to. The service is incredible. Today I went to eat in dine with my sister who hasn’t been inside a restaurant since 2020. We had the nicest time. The service and food was perfect and the server was so sweet to us. We stayed for almost two hours because we haven’t seen each other for months. The server didn’t make us feel rushed or anything but welcomed. It was amazing. I highly recommend this place. It is absolutely perfect.“

“went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“

“Typical store sushi, which is convenient and reasonable quality. Unfortunately, it sits in the refrigerator after being made and never seems to have the same quality as fresh made restaurant sushi. Great when you’re in a hurry though.

“This is far the best sushi in Barrie, ON. Their sushi not only tastes good, the service they provide is amazing. I requested a change in my order, and they promptly made the best efforts to accomodate my request. I do recomment! The Party Tray A has a fair price and it is perfect for our family of 3.“
