“Haven’t been back here since it first opened. But tonight we ended up downtown and in search of pho.

Placed was packed but things moved quickly. As expected their PHO broth was incredible, even the chicken based one which I find lacking at some other places.

Love that they offer multiple sizes. Small is often more than enough. They also aren’t skimpy on the sides providing bean sprouts, basil, lemon, sambal, sriracha and hoisin.

Prices were fair, the staff were super friendly and make sure it’s very clean between guests.“

“My new favourite Vietnamese place in Kingston. Moved back to town after living in Toronto for 10 years and one of the things i missed the most was being able to get good bún bò huê. I think it's just being offered as a special right now but I really hope they make it a permanent option. Broth is savory and a little spicy with a hint of sourness. Full of meats. Mmmmmmmm. I've had it at a lot of restaurants in Toronto and this place beats almost all of them.

Their fresh rolls are also really soft and tasty and I love that they serve pickled daikon and carrot with it. I've had their Vietnamese coffee and house special pho before and while I wish it had tendon or tripe it was also very tasty. Portions are large, food comes out quick, and staff are very nice.

Please everyone order the bún bò huê so they're encouraged to keep it on their menu forever. 🙏🥹“

“This is where you want to go, for pho. I’ve probably had many numerous bowls of rare beef pho and plates of the grilled pork chop with eggs, at this very location: 메콩. It was a huge part of my university experience, while studying at Queen’s, back about 10-15 years ago.

I was happy to see that the owner was the same as back in the days, and the taste of the pho, has not changed at all. And that’s given that I’ve many pho’s in Toronto, since then!

It’s the perfectly meal, especially on cold nights or after a night of drinking (해장).“
