We had an early dinner at Algarve Restaurant, Kitchener. The restaurant was hosting a private event. They welcomed us in the bar area. Great homestyle cooking.Simple menu, simple food, and GREAT prices!It has such a classy atmosphere but keeps prices just as cheap as any loud and trite chain.Bar on one side and classy restaurant on the other. The wall is quite sound proof so you can have a conversation and not even know a bar is 3 feet from you.I went with my mother and she enjoyed it but I would highly recommend this as a fantastic place to take a date.
Went with a group. Only one waitress for several tables. My food was good, others were disappointed. Service was slow because one person simply isn't enough, no matter how skilled she was. We were in a side room and it was kind of dreary. I likely won't choose this place again.
