I love poutine but the gravy was too salty and I generally like salty food. I gave this place two tries and both times the same so that was disappointing. I did like their burger though!
Went on a whim. The reviews looked good, actually really good. I ordered a basic burger, side poutine and pepsi.Atmosphere was cool and the Antique market attached was an added bonus. The staff here, the one young male here, was friendly and accommodating.The $$ sign rating should be higher. This is NOT a cheap sit down.The burger was over peppered, dry and difficult to finish. There is no real storefront, you follow a sign into a building and through semi-retail corridors until you reach a glassed in area with a bunch of tables. The sign beside the door is actually pretty small. The counter makes it obvious that this place serves food but most of the view into the kitchen is blocked by stuff so we didn’t see people until after we had helped ourselves to a menu and read for a while.
