My girlfriend went with the steak, cooked medium-rare, and it was spot-on. Tender, juicy, and seasoned just right — no fancy sauces needed. It came with a side of roasted potatoes and asparagus. Service was friendly and relaxed — not rushed, but always attentive. Whether you’re out for a date night or just want to treat yourself, this place hits the mark on food, vibe, and location. “Been going there for over 25 years and have yet to have one bad meal, or bad service. Some of the best food I have ever had. When I was out of the area in Toronto they were my gold standard of Chinese food, and I never found a restaurant that matched thier quality in Chinese food.”

“The Lakefield Subway is usually my first option for a to go lunch, during work. The sub masters behind the counter are always really kind and I’ve seen them take a lot from customers. I get the same sub every time and it’s always delicious. The cookies are soft and my favourite part of my meal, besides the friendly workers. Love this Subway.

Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is a good spot to take children. Lots of seating and I think they have booster seats (could be wrong, I’ll check next time I go). Lots of extra napkins available and the washroom is accommodating.”

“I go to many Tim Hortons and this by far the BEST Timmy's around. I never get the wrong order and when I ask to have my wrap extra grilled its extra grilled. Staff is always cheerful even at 6:30 in the morning.”

I haven’t received great service like this in some time…. We did not enter the restaurant but earlier we left a McDonald’s in Bancroft because of how disgustingly dirty it was
This restaurant although we didn’t go inside, but the windows looked well maintained, and from what I could see inside the drive through window it was clean.

The sauce on the Big Macs and arch was way too mustardy - unsure if there was a mistake made there, but it did affect my food slightly. Although, I was too hungry to care

“I've been a loyal customer of this family owned restaurant since shortly after they opened. their perfectly seasoned Shawarma is the area's best, and they have some interesting regional offerings worth exploring. They offer great food, friendly service, and the premises are well kept. I recommend checking them out.”
