As always, the treats we purchased for my daughter's sweet 16 dinner, were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS 😋. The Dirty Shirley was fantastic and the customer service was the icing on today's visit. A smile and hello, having someone who takes pride in their products and describes them enthusiastically and then offers a good-bye and have a nice day, are not something I experience often these days ☺️“

“Ordered an 8 inch, 3 layered, red velvet, coconut cake for my birthday and they delivered flawlessly. Walking in, the place was very nice with a wonderful aroma in the air and very alluring sweets available for purchase that all looked incredible. They handed me my cake and were very kind, and when it was time to eat it, it was absolutely everything I wanted in every bite. I, and my family approve!!“

“Love this location. All of the food I have ever got from here is so well put together and delicious! I just got the chipotle chicken wrap, and the thing was the size of a large burrito. Fillings were well ratioed, and it was so good. The guy at the window and speaker was funny and pleasant. And they're so quick!
Honestly most other locations just throw their food together resulting in s sloppy, inedible mess...not this one! Thank you!“

“As an out-of-town visitor I have to say that Peterborough is very lucky indeed to have a bakery like this. A local person recommended that as the best in town and the pastry I had (see photo) and the cinnamon bun did not disappoint. Looking forward to going again on my next visit!“

“I picked up some goodies today. Everything was so good. I bought my father an apple fritter and it was the size of his face... actually, their donuts are all about the size of your face. they are so tasty and fresh. you have to try them. it's well worth the visit.“

“Country Mart is a cute little convenience store and bakery in the Kawarthas. I have been searching for the best butter tart in Ontario — and they were invented here, so the best one in the province is probably the best one in the world. You can see my thoughts on other good butter tarts in my other reviews.

The butter tart at Country Mart is one of the best ones I've tried. What really stood out to me is the crust. It's thick, flaky, and very soft, much more than its counterparts from other bakeries. I much prefer the texture of this tart to the crusts of other butter tarts, so that significantly elevates the product here at Country Mart.

The filling is also good. It has a pleasant texture, solid but also gooey, and with a very slight burnt taste that is very addictive.

Overall I was very impressed, this unassuming bakery punches up with the best in Ontario. Congrats to the owner and staff on baking such an excellent tart!“

“I was just going to grab a coffee. I was blown away with the doughnut counter and sandwich offerings.

I bought a great early lunch, amazing coffee, warm delicious sandwich and a couple doughnuts.

Coffee Time, where have you been, many more locations please.

It is beautiful since renovation. We come here almost daily for our afternoon tea and coffee
It is very clean here which is very important to us. Brian is always polite and friendly . Kim goes out of her way to keep this location looking good. She always says hello. All the staff here are super friendly and kind. We really enjoy going there almost daily......and I think the tall lady is Lisa but not sure. She is excellent at keeping the front moving well
