“During non-Covid times, loved eating there. So busy. Tonight's take-out Halibut & Chips were far from good. The halibut was not fresh and had a spoiled taste. So disappointing. Will wait til they are open and food is fresher.“

“Great small town gastro pub. My family and I came in on 25th Sep. Our host Jake, was super welcoming and provided great service. The food dishes were prepared fresh and tasted amazing. The broccoli soup was so good. Each dish stood out. The double Brie appy was so good. We had the Hot Honey sandwich, French Bird and the chicken club. We grew up in Lakefield and it was super nostalgic coming back to the old Hamblin’s after all these years. Definitely recommend and will be back.“

“Discovered WH Peterborough at the start of this year and I am addicted to it. Great sports bar space, extensive menu with lots of options for everyone. The staff are all great, super friendly and welcoming as is the owner. Cold beer, lots of TV's, but THE WINGS, omg they are delicious. Soooo many flavours and so well cooked. I love food and finding great spots, especially wings. HANDS DOWN the best wings in town and i have tried them all. Everytime i am there the takeout drivers are in and out so word is getting out even for take-outs eats, fantastic. They even have some stellar deals most nights of the week. Go check it out!“

“We just started going to nova pizza this summer after trying it one day we were hooked, not only on the food but the friendly people that work there. Prices are awesome and the food is amazing, we no sw enjoy our pizza nova if not every week then every other week.“

“We were there for two family dinners (about ten people per occasion). The most popular dinner on night one was "Halibut and Chips" (followed closely by "Fish and Chips"). There are other dishes on the menu (e.g. Souvlaki, Butter Chicken or Bison Meatloaf). Positive reviews all 'round. On night two, we all had "Pickerel and Chips" which was truly fine, especially when accompanied by the generous and tasty salad. Service was efficient (especially for a large group) and very up-tempo. The menu (posted on the Facebook page) gives you a true sense of the options. A relaxing dinner in cottage country.“

“I ordered the Mezze bowl, it's vegan but it usually comes with tahini and they add dairy milk to their tahini. She showed me a list of dressings to choose from with the vegan ones indicated. I chose the cilantro lime one and it tasted even better than tahini.“
