Yesterday I ordered HALIBUT and chips and paid for HALIBUT ($18.99), but instead got a piece of COD (or HADDOCK), which are the cheaper cuts of fish on the market, coming out at around 60% the price of halibut at other places where they serve both. When I took it back, they insisted that they've given me halibut. There is a big difference in the texture between cod and halibut. The former is soft, mushy, more moist, and does not flake; the latter is firm and the flesh is drier and flakes like a "W". I was not in the mood to argue and left it at that. For the information of the dude who dismissed my complaint, I know my fishes, whether fresh water or deep sea, and have hooked all those mentioned, including halibut in my lifetime”

Even for his birthday, I said let me take you out for dinner and guess where he wanted to go that’s right Ziggys , fish and chips and Caribbean restaurant. They’re fish and chips are also amazing. They are so accommodating and friendly and the restaurant is tiptop clean which is very important to my husband and I I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to eat in Lindsay even if you’re in the Kawartha Lakes.”

“Great local spot for ice cream or a milkshake. Having a drive thru is a great perk. Milkshakes are a little over priced and the ‘huge’ size isn’t consistently filled to the top. It can also be frustrating when your favourite flavour isn’t available.”
