After some deliberation I asked her what she recommends that’s hot and savory, and she directed me to the burek. I got a spinach and cheese one and it made my day.“

“The girl running the bakery is very very nice and their treats are high quality. However, I do have a suggestion - have all your products ready for sale right when the store opens, not an hour later. If customers are driving half hour out of their way to buy something, they need it right away as people have schedules. Shelves should not be empty when customers come in. I lined up early to a famous bakery downtown Toronto and was the first customer in line. When the store opened, the shelves were full and I had first pick at everything available. I ended up spending quite a bit of money. Full shelves = more profit“

“Love the place! No point in saying It's expensive'. What isn't nowadays if you compare everything to yesterday! Of course imported items cost more than in U.K. because now it is here, not over there. (Checked air mail lately as one example of costs, plus rent, staff, insurance and other overheads). Their meat pies and sausage rolls always on my list. Meat pies actually full of meat, not as available in some other places with tiny bits of meat plus 'fill', mostly chunks of potato, carrots and so on. There are meaty! Cornish pasties a choice too. Choose frozen or not frozen. Other favorites are the bottles onions and also beetroots, really tasty. Also check the jams and marmalade, helps to make a great start to the day. We'll be back.“

“I stopped here in the market while getting some coffee. I met the owner and had a conversation and left with some pastries. Then I got home and I was AMAZED. I haven’t had pastries this good since the last time I was in France 20 years ago!! Needless to say I’m back only two weeks later getting enough for a family brunch! If you’re on the fence. “I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the Amazing Bakery baker, Funmi. Every time I visited the bakery I became so hungry because of the delicious smells. Funmi let me know that the sweet bread was great for French toast and I decided to put that to the test. I was blown away by the quality and texture of the bread. The bread smells delicious, stays firm while dipping and cooking, and retains softens in the middle while the outside cooks. “I am a local and always try to stop by when I can. The environment is lovely, extremely kind workers. I went in around 1 to get some bread, and was told their would be fresh options later in the day. I went back and not only was there a wonderful selection, but the blonde worker who i'm assuming was a student had the place spotless from what it had been before. All the workers know their stuff and are fast and efficient when needed.“
