50 Best Chicken Wings near Maple

“Ok. Here we go. This was my first visit to this Popeyes location and I will say it wasn't the worst and it wasn't the best.
1. I saw the special they were offering on my phone and drove to this location to place my order since its not too far away. When I arrived I saw a poster of the special on the wall which was $10 more than advertised on the phone ad. I asked why it was $10 more in-store???? I was told thats only for online orders which was NOT stated in the advertisement. I was then told that in order to receive the discount I had to download the app and order it from there!!!!!! I WAS RIGHT THERE in front of them! What's up with that????? Such foolishness. I should have been able to just pay the price of the special without downloading the darn app. Since then I have deleted the app again because I always go in person. This is not fair to those of us who actually go and wait for our chicken. I love my chicken to be HOT & FRESH, not sitting in a bag on the counter until I arrive to pick it up. POPEYES, Pay attention, your in store customers should not be penalized that $10 discount because we don't order online. 🤔
Now on to the food! 😁
Unfortunately I had to take the last 9 pieces of chicken or wait another 20 minutes for fresh, which is what I should have done.
It was ok, but not as crispy and juicy as I usually get it. When it's hot and fresh it's second only to Mary Brown's when theirs are hot and fresh!
So the lady packed up the 9 pieces of chicken put them in a box, laid them on the warmer, and I asked her are the fries nice and crispy and fresh? She gave me one to try and they were!!!! However, here the kicker, she loaded up the box of fries, put them next to the chicken on the warmer, and went to the back!!!! I see my order waiting there, waiting, waiting, so long I had to ask the guy there, whats taking so long? My order is therei n front of me getting cold!!! Apparently there were no fresh biscuits ready and she had to go back to make them, lol. By the time she got back, my fries were now not hot and fresh, and I noticed instead of giving me the 5 FRESH HOT biscuits she just brought out, the guy gave me 4 stale biscuits and 1 fresh one. Easy to tell which is which when biting into them.
Slow service is not good. All of this should have been prepared and ready to go.
In closing, I will say, that Popeye's is a nice alternative to Mary Brown's which I normally buy, but with inconsistencies like this from various locations, thats a great way to turn off customers from ordering your Chicken.
A SPECIAL SHOULD BE A SPECIAL, ONLINE OR NOT.

But there is not really any place to sit. It was 5 of us and we had to go to Earl Bales park to find a table for all of us. The counters are 3 people max.
As it's summer, it was a good experience overall and the price was very reasonable.“

“I’ve tried a few Pizza Huts around Vaughan but 3641 Major Mackenzie is on another level. The Supreme pizza had so much cheese and veggies, and the wings were crispy not greasy. “Had a great service at this location, ordered 4 medium pizzas, 8 drinks, and 4 dips. Food was anazing but took awhile. One worker was locked in at the front and did alot of work and deserves a raise. The other worker, (Antoon) stayed in the back either prepping some up, or prepping himself. Antoon rarely came to the front and displayed a mean/nonchalant face. Additionally, he came to the front and pulled 4 plastics bags which was his first appearance. To conclude my review, I would ljke to thank the worker for basically carrying Antoon by doing all the work in a busy time. Antoon, I don’t think pizza pizza is a great a fit for you. Maybe you were in training or prepping something in the back, but please try to display yourself more often and take orders, instead of just pulling out bags and staying in the back.

“That's the first time that I ordered a pizza from Pizza Pizza with thicker bread, and we love it. I ordered half ground beef and half butter chicken on a large pizza. It costs $20 for 2 people, which was enough. Beef was better. Butter chicken had a spice that wasn't to our taste.“

“Didn’t like this location at all even though it’s the closest store to my residence and would often travel to further locations I.E. Marlee or Sheppard locations because they Avenue Rd location were very cheap with toppings, had poor customer service, would screw up orders and would violate HACCP rules with respect to washing hands before touching food. Now since employee Srikanth Gundeti is at this Avenue Rd location I have seen a noticeable improvement I.E. Employees no longer violate HACCP rules, better customer service, orders not screwed up, and now better quality made pizzas that me and my family enjoy. People underestimate how bad, lazy employees and who often violate HACCP rules can ruin the customer service experience!“

“Great offer for free item. Love pizza hut on Saturdays for the veggie lovers deal, sometimes they have 40 to 50 % off regular priced pizzas all the time almost which make them the standard to beat. Dominos and papa johns do not even come close so there is no such thing as pizza wars. Pizza hut is king, also my buddy said its the only pizza that doesn't give him heartburn! Today I am getting extra cheese with pepporoni and olives, going to be fire.“

“I’ve been coming to this Pizza Hut since I was in high school, and it brings back so many great memories. My friends and I used to grab the daily pizza deals and hang out in the parking lot after school, it was one of our favorite spots.
I recently came back for the first time since Mother’s Day, and it reminded me why I’ve always loved this location. I wish I had taken a picture of the pizza I ordered, but it smelled so amazing that I couldn’t wait to dig in!

“The service was friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The Big Mary sandwich is really good but now really small. A few years ago it was 50% bigger. Now it's more like a McChicken but with better meat. Looks like it's been affected by shrinkflation like many other things.“
