Polite and knowledgeable staff. Clean shop as to be expected by every cobs location I’ve been to. Sadly on a Friday before heading north to the cottage, I popped in for some basics and a lot of the shelves are bare. Maybe a forecasting issue on how much product to bake or a group before me bought out most of the store. Whatever it may be, I got most of what I was looking for but now need to stop in Barrie for the rest.
Walked into COBS after a night shift to pick up some breakfast. The entire case was filled with yummy baked goods, fresh & so appealing. The staff was very friendly and explained all the different kind of scones & croissants I was interested in. I picked up a ham and cheese croissant and 3 types of scones - strawberry passion fruit, raspberry white chocolate, and apple pie. The croissant was still warm which was so delicious. All the bread is fresh and amazing. We usually grab 2 kinds of sourdough (sliced), and we love their gourmet hamburger and hotdog buns. We sometimes buy everything bagels - they are nice and dense.I would have given them a 5, but most times, their pastries aren't moist, and they do not seem fresh. I have tried the mini Danishs and cinnamon buns. (Delivery and in-store purchased).Their cones are delicious ?! Very moist.
