Macarons near Markham, ON

“Got food from toogoodtogo and it was delicious! The amount of food I got was a huge 2 bags containing around 50 macarons for a really low price. I saw their mini cheesecakes there which looked pretty decent so I bought one too. Although the portion was not a lot, it was definitely very delicious! Service was quick and staff were very nice. Don't know why I see many bad reviews here.“

“Great cakes, cupcakes and customer service. Mary was a pleasure to work with and was very detailed oriented and patient when showing her pictures of the designs I wanted for our wedding cake and cupcakes. We got vanilla on vanilla and they turned out amazing and tasted great too! I'm usually not a fan of buttercream but theirs was just perfect (not too heavy or sweet). We loved it so much we got some more cupcakes for our anniversary and recieved the same amazing service. Would def work with them again for future celebrations.“

“Awesome bakery and tends not to be too expensive! I love that their cakes are not too sweet, but are delicious and that they have unique cake flavors, like grapefruit mango, black sesame and rose cakes! I loved the rose cake, actually! I didn't know until recently that they also sell day-old baked goods in paper bags at the back of the store for $5, so that's nice too! Drinks are also good price, coffee is cheap and unique flavored lattes, such as black sesame latte, are good prices too. I keep coming back here, honestly!“

“This baked goods are top notch. I like pretty much everything I've tried from them.

There is some work that can be done in terms of atmosphere. I noticed that all the workers wear nitrile gloves which looks unhygienic because they don't change them between tasks. They go between handling food to doing checkout with the same gloves. Gloves are protection for your hands. They don't magically stay clean. Once you handle the cash register with the gloves, the gloves become dirty and you should remove them and wash your hands or change your gloves. Also the aprons the workers wear look grungy with visible grime and dirt like they aren't laundered regularly. Details like this are important in a place serving food. I think if management improved on this and just generally paid closer attention details it would really further elevate this place.“

“Pro: Delicious food. Server is very nice and responsive. Very nice setting.
Cons: 1) There are only 3 teas to choose from, which is super lacking and not competitive with other high tea places. When picking the teas, the server showed a picture of how the tea looks like. The tea looked like they are not stored properly and just jammed in a closet. The herbal tea box looked unpleasant, so choice went from 3 tea choices to 2 teas. 2) washroom was not maintain and yellow everywhere. Server cleaned it after complain. Still very unacceptable as its a food place 3) Server is too new and need training. Don't get me wrong, she is trying her best and responsive, but she should not be left by herself while being new. She had to serve, greet and clean washroom.“

“Was my first time trying your pancakes @square one mall yesterday. Must say they’re delicious. The staff was very polite and allowed us in just before their closing, so Thankyou for that! Great service and not to be missed pancakes..will sure go back again👍🏻🥞✅“
