“We went for dinner on Saturday night as we frequently do when we're in Meaford visiting family. Dinner was great, the staff are always very friendly and accommodating especially with thr kids! Food is always delicious with minimal wait times. One of our daughters had fries either her meal that were a little too salty for her taste and the waitress had new fresh unsalted fries out to her within minutes. If you're looking for a family friendly restaurant with great food you won't be disappointed!“

“The Damn Pub in Meaford is truly wonderful - the kind of spot you tell friends about.

The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, with that perfect pub feel: warm wood, local character on the walls, and staff who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Service is friendly and attentive without hovering, and there’s a real sense of community in the room.

The food absolutely delivers. My husband ordered the fish and chips and couldn’t stop raving. The fish was flaky and tender inside with a crisp, golden batter that wasn’t greasy at all, and the chips were real, hot, and perfectly salted. Pub comfort food done right.

My Shepherd’s pie was amazing. And I mean _true_ Shepherd’s pie - made with lamb, rich gravy, tender vegetables, and topped with creamy, buttery mashed potatoes baked until golden on top. No shortcuts, just honest, delicious flavor that tastes like it was made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in getting the classics right.

Add in a solid tap list, good music, and that welcoming Meaford vibe, and you’ve got a place worth driving for. The Damn Pub is the real deal - great food, great people, and a meal we’ll definitely be back for.“
