“We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. And the BAKED GOODS — don’t even get me started because they’re delicious — every single one that we tried! We have decided that we’re going to frequent Jake’s Bakes for a coffee and a baked good as a weekend treat whenever we can!”

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.”

“I need to recognize one of your servers for going above and beyond the call of duty. I took my 91 year old mother for lunch at Kelsey’s. Mom has mobility issues and is very unsteady on her feet. As we walked through the door, we were greeted by Sam. I asked Sam if she would mind getting my Mom to a table while I went out to park my van. Sam, to my surprise, took my mother’s hand and politely escorted her to a table.

In my humble opinion, Sam has a wonderful heart. Listening to her talk to the other patrons, you can tell she is honestly listening to them and she shows a genuine interest in people.

I have worked in customer service for 45 years, and, I can honestly say that I have only met a handful of servers who go the extra mile like Sam did. What a wonderful person!!”

Friemdly and promt greetings, quick seating, great atmosphere and decor, amazing and diligent staff. Barrie location is more than happy to accommodate those with needing smaller portions as an adult. Our server went above and beyond any service we have received back home. even heard her communicate with the chef directly, and when an ingredient wasnt available, instead of taking it off the menu for the day, someone ran out and actually picked up said ingredient .. top notch guest service! We cannot wait to go back and try their lunch menu!”

“September 16 our party of 5 visited Bacio Trattoria for the first time. What a delight! The menu is authentic and elegant Italian. The service was attentive but not over bearing. We enjoyed a complimentary Lemoncello with the Chef/owner for the perfect end to a great evening and dinner. We'll be back!”
