“My boyfriend and I went for supper and the place was absolutely packed. Even though there was a long list of people before us, the meal was well worth the wait. We had the broasted chicken, with carrots and mashed potatoes. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We are still talking about how amazing the meal was.

But the best part of our experience was the kindness of our waitress, Sophia. When I asked her while we were ordering if there was any peanut butter pie available for dessert, she said she would check. We were visiting from Ottawa and weren't aware that you need to order peanut butter pie in advance if you want one, especially on a Saturday, and the bakery was sold out. I had been looking forward to this special treat for months. When she came back during our meal to inform me that there was some left, she asked if I wanted her to bring it out now to ensure I could get a piece. Of course, I said yes, and I savoured every sweet, creamy bite of it.

We were visiting Stratford to celebrate our 6th anniversary, and this meal, and the kindness of this amazing young woman, was the perfect cap to a wonderful weekend. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back.“
