“Since new ownership Wasaga Beach Swiss Chalet is one of my favourite places to eat. The restaurant is clean. Tracey is friendly, quick and always gets our order right. “We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. “To be able to get authentic, tasty Caribbean food in Angus, ON is awesome! Mona's is a take out place. Tonight, hubby had Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, and a side of the best Macaroni salad out there. I ordered Curried Chicken, but since it was almost sold out, Mona made me a triple combo of the curry, some curried goat, and some oxtail. It was SO GOOD!! I love all 3 of the salads offered, but my favourite is the macaroni. Big portions too! If you love Jamaican food, you need to visit Mona's!!”

“Asian Yummy One has the best Chinese food I've ever had. Their chicken balls are more chicken than coating. Their soo gai and sauce is absolutely delicious, beef fried rice is perfectly done and flavorful. The house Chop Suey is just as delicious as the rest of their food. “Pricing was surprisingly reasonable for 2 burgers, 2 ice creams, and their new pretzels. Spent about $12 a person. Customer service was very friendly. The food was prepared quickly. The burgers were served still hot, and the ice cream was still cold. Their burgers are 100% beef and definitely underrated.

Parking: Parking is scarce and fills up quickly, especially on hot summer days.”

“I’ve used Tastebuds Bakery for a couple of baked goods orders, and I have to say that each time the goodies (lemon blueberry cake and apple crumble) were absolutely amazing! The cakes were moist and flavourful, nothing was too sweet or overpowering, and Melena is very truthful about answering questions about quantity to order based on party size. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from anyone who’s had their baked dishes.”
