“We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. And the BAKED GOODS — don’t even get me started because they’re delicious — every single one that we tried! We have decided that we’re going to frequent Jake’s Bakes for a coffee and a baked good as a weekend treat whenever we can!”

“I finally got a chance to visit with my 3 year old daughter on Thursday and it did not disappoint. my daughter loves loved loved her hot chocolate and cookie crossing. I got a Greek frappe original and a hot white choc matcha. both drinks were amazing the matcha was my favourite. “To be able to get authentic, tasty Caribbean food in Angus, ON is awesome! Mona's is a take out place. Tonight, hubby had Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, and a side of the best Macaroni salad out there. I ordered Curried Chicken, but since it was almost sold out, Mona made me a triple combo of the curry, some curried goat, and some oxtail. It was SO GOOD!! I love all 3 of the salads offered, but my favourite is the macaroni. Big portions too! If you love Jamaican food, you need to visit Mona's!!”

For any first timers I would recommend the salmon or Korean short ribs, with rice.. something about the rice, they should offer take out by the bucket. But first, you should start off with some Lumpia, always delicious! The friendly faces are always so welcoming and the fancy but still kind of casual food is like a delicious warm hug, everything is delicious! Dave & Josie have definitely hit the mark with their formula IMHO”

“Asian Yummy One has the best Chinese food I've ever had. Their chicken balls are more chicken than coating. Their soo gai and sauce is absolutely delicious, beef fried rice is perfectly done and flavorful. The house Chop Suey is just as delicious as the rest of their food. I won't order Chinese food from anywhere else.”

“Normally the pizza is good with lots of toppings, this order was a slight disappointment. There was very little toppings and no extra cheese as we ordered. We were quite surprised as the last couple orders were very good.

I got my husband to try it a little later with me. He got the sesame chicken and steamed rice.
He is now hooked on it just as much as me.

“I’ve used Tastebuds Bakery for a couple of baked goods orders, and I have to say that each time the goodies (lemon blueberry cake and apple crumble) were absolutely amazing! The cakes were moist and flavourful, nothing was too sweet or overpowering, and Melena is very truthful about answering questions about quantity to order based on party size. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from anyone who’s had their baked dishes.”
