“To be able to get authentic, tasty Caribbean food in Angus, ON is awesome! Mona's is a take out place. Tonight, hubby had Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, and a side of the best Macaroni salad out there. I ordered Curried Chicken, but since it was almost sold out, Mona made me a triple combo of the curry, some curried goat, and some oxtail. It was SO GOOD!! I love all 3 of the salads offered, but my favourite is the macaroni. Big portions too! If you love Jamaican food, you need to visit Mona's!!”

“Asian Yummy One has the best Chinese food I've ever had. Their chicken balls are more chicken than coating. Their soo gai and sauce is absolutely delicious, beef fried rice is perfectly done and flavorful. The house Chop Suey is just as delicious as the rest of their food. I won't order Chinese food from anywhere else.”

“After visiting this fine place...many times... the food is consistently amazing. For any first timers I would recommend the salmon or Korean short ribs, with rice.. something about the rice, they should offer take out by the bucket. But first, you should start off with some Lumpia, always delicious! The friendly faces are always so welcoming and the fancy but still kind of casual food is like a delicious warm hug, everything is delicious! Dave & Josie have definitely hit the mark with their formula IMHO”

“I attended an outdoor celebration where Danny's Restaurant food was served. Marvelous, Fantastic, great tasting, just the right amount of spice. Clean professional outdoor serving dishes, staff and presentation. Child friendly staff ( we know kids can make a fuss and run around while staff serve the food) no issues not even "that look" some adults give kids, just being kids. On time, on temperature and lots and lots, did I say lots? of food. Highly recommended.”

“Normally the pizza is good with lots of toppings, this order was a slight disappointment. There was very little toppings and no extra cheese as we ordered. We were quite surprised as the last couple orders were very good.

I accidentally spilled my drink and the staff member who saw was quick to assure me it was ok, poured me a fresh drink, and told me to have a seat elsewhere and they’ll take care of it. “Tried this one night when I was taking kids somewhere and couldn't figure out where to eat. Found this place near by and thought I'd try it. Staff was nice, the portions were worth the cost and the wait was worth the food. It was delicious.
The most amazing spring rolls and chicken lo mein.

I got my husband to try it a little later with me. He got the sesame chicken and steamed rice.
He is now hooked on it just as much as me.

“I’ve used Tastebuds Bakery for a couple of baked goods orders, and I have to say that each time the goodies (lemon blueberry cake and apple crumble) were absolutely amazing! The cakes were moist and flavourful, nothing was too sweet or overpowering, and Melena is very truthful about answering questions about quantity to order based on party size. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from anyone who’s had their baked dishes.”
