Condense Bakery in Bradford absolutely exceeded expectations with my husband’s bday tiramisu cake. It was light, fresh, and perfectly made; everyone loved it, and there wasn’t a single piece left by the end of the night. My husband is Portuguese and very fussy when it comes to cakes and tarts, so the fact that he loved their pastéis de nata & this cake says a lot They were authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

Just popped in out of convenience on my way to work at Wonderland. Placed an order for a ham and cheese sandwich which was posted on the food prep. window. This is my second visit here and I don't get it. Isn't it in Caldense Bakery's best interest to please it's customers? Veal Parm. sandwich on my first visit was grisly and I felt that my order was inconvenient for the server. Based on the reviews, Caldense Bakery offers amazing quality, friendly service, and incredibly reasonable pricing. The pastéis de nata are authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and the pasties de nata are off the chart. The bday tiramisu cake was light, fresh, and perfectly made. The nutella nata is yummy, and the breakfast sandwich with havarti cheese is very nice with fresh baked bread. The pastries are awesome, and the coffee is great. The staff are nice and patient, with one employee noted for a beautiful welcoming smile and great customer service. Another employee provided excellent service, taking time to answer questions. However, some customers noted that the buns can be a bit too hard, especially at the end of the day, and the bread becomes rock solid the next day. One experience involved a wait of about 15 minutes for service. Despite this, the bakery is a cozy place with a diverse product on display. A flaky layered strawberry shortcake has been requested for a graduation. This is a new go-to bakery for many.
