Got the traditional poutinr while waiting for my guests to arrive. Filled my hunger and got the job done, it was decent.
I was disappointed with the poutine, which was one of the worst I've had. The gravy lacked richness it was watery and the service seemed disorganized as chairs were continually being removed, limiting seating options. The person preparing the poutine appeared inexperienced, which was surprising from a chain restaurant. Consistency seems to be an issue that needs attention.
Ordered the chicken poutine. It was hot and fresh. Found the curds to be a little rubbery at first but if you let them sit they absorb the gravy😏. It was an okay experience but not great. Did not taste any chicken maybe it’s at the bottom? Tables are full with some customers but mostly they are not customers so you have a tough time finding a seat to enjoy your food . It’s at the airport so this is understandable. 😃

Smoke's Poutinerie, located at the airport, serves Canadian junk fast food. The chicken poutine was hot and fresh, but the curds were a little rubbery at first, though they absorb the gravy if left to sit. The experience was okay but not great, as no chicken taste was detected. The large regular poutine was good, maybe a bit too hot. The flavours of the butter chicken poutine sauce are not bad, but they get dull after the 5th bite, and the ingredients are of the most basic quality. The taste wasn’t horrible, but after eating the poutine the stomach didn’t feel the greatest. The presentation of the fries looked fine. A bacon and egg breakfast burrito was wonderfully fresh and filling, with a huge regular size and lots of fresh toppings. The restaurant is in a crowded area of arrivals, and many people who are not customers occupy the few tables, making it tough to find a seat.
