About Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine

Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine is a large and clean restaurant celebrating 26 years of delicious dim sum. The portions are fair, and the prices are moderate, around a 6.5-7 out of 10. The restaurant offers an authentic old school dim sum experience with carts, making it a unique spot in Mississauga. Though the food is generally excellent, some reviews mention that the service can be inconsistent, with servers sometimes being hard to flag down for cutlery or sauce. However, the staff is friendly, and the managers are always courteous.

The menu is a mouthwatering adventure, featuring everything from delicate dim sum to hearty fried rice, and includes the crispy, savoury Peking duck, which is worth every nickel. The restaurant has wheelchair accessibility at the entrance, but parking can be limited and cramped. Be prepared for a wait on weekends, especially Sundays, as it can be busy.

While the restrooms are noted as needing maintenance, and the bar area has a chaotic charm, the vibrant mix of locals and Asian food enthusiasts creates a lively atmosphere. Summit Garden remains a place worth visiting, especially for its good dim sum and the friendly, familiar faces that make diners feel at home. Just be ready for a few surprises along the way.

Support family-owned for decades! Food is good authentic Cantonese cuisine, portions decent, nice ambience for a Chinese restaurant. They seem to customize to specific requests to make clients happy. Traditional Dim Sum brunch with ladies pushing the carts around so you can pick what you want —done on Sat/Sun. Very busy between 9am-1pm on wknds but super! They have my faves: beef tripe, curry squid, sticky rice, Har Gow, Siu Mai, Bbq pork buns, fresh hot Tofufa, scallop...read full review
