My mom purchased worth $100ish and most of it has mold!!🤮If they know it has mold they should dispose it and not sell!!🤮
The Filipino deserts app has mold. Brought these to a party and thank God it was discovered by my guests at the party. Called to get a refund and below me off as a joke. Valerio's Tropical Bake Shop in Mississauga offers freshly baked Pandesal that brings a nostalgic taste of home, the Philippines. The bakeshop is clean and organized, with a variety of choices like Chizmosa. Friendly and respectful staff provide excellent customer service, making visitors feel at home. The shop features a wide assortment of Filipino baked goodies, with the humble pan de sal taking the spotlight. Their version of pan de sal is the closest you'll get to having a taste of home—just pop them in the oven for a few minutes to enjoy a similar taste and texture as from a local panaderia. Other popular items include ube and cheese pimiento bulilits, cheese rolls, banana turon, and kutsinta, all made with quality ingredients and offered at decent prices. The space is clean, and the staff are courteous and efficient. Customers have praised the freshness of all bake products and the good atmosphere. Many find the bread tastes just like home, and the staff are very friendly. The banana turon is considered the best, with fresh plantain and jackfruit wrapped in a spring roll, glazed with caramel, perfect for sharing at dinner parties. However, some customers feel the prices are a little high compared to other bakeries. Recently, there was a concern about mold in some desserts, and the shop's response was seen as dismissive, raising health concerns. Despite this, the bakery remains a popular spot for enjoying Filipino baked goods and experiencing a taste of home.
