“I have been a customer of Costello's Pizza for over 20 years. The pizza is consistently excellent and the wraps are very fresh. The Greek salad is a real treat. You can't go wrong with any of the food offerings at Costello's.

The restaurant itself is quite large but is seldom used as the majority of Costello's business is takeout or delivery. With sufficient notice, the restaurant will accommodate a large group of family event.”

“Certainly amongst the best Turquish restaurant in Ottawa even if the place is modest and simple but greatly clean, well ordered and with owner couple top class. Menu with a large amount of different delicious choices. The review made by Ottawa Citizen one month after their opening is still very actual and totally worth the large amount of kudos received. Bravo to the very gentle owner's couple. The food is great and reminded us our meal taken in Kusadasi few years ago. We are going to use this spot on a very regular basis for sure.”

“I love the food but if you order with the app, check your food before you leave. I hadn’t ordered in months and was really looking forward to the buffalo chicken strips and they gave me regular chicken strips. We ordered a bottled iced tea and got a can instead. Of course everything is in bags and sealed so it makes it harder but it’s important. Not only did the cook make the wrong food but even the lady who packages it before you get it doesn’t notice.”

“Honestly this was place was delicious!!! My friend and I tried to visit this place last weekend and made the mistake of not making a reservation so unfortunately didn’t get to eat there on Saturday night. But we were looking forward to it so much we decided to try again the next weekend and this time got a reservation at the bar on Friday night. So make sure to make a reservation if you are visiting on a Friday or Saturday night!

But boy oh boy was this place worth it!! I ordered the Kaisen chirashi and everything in the bowl was so fresh! I loved the variety of the fish and everything melts in your mouth. The service was also top notch! The chefs wife was super sweet and friendly and all of the servers were always checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

If you are looking for Japan quality fish that is authentic and traditional, I would definitely recommend visiting this spot! It’s also worth the trek if you are coming from Kanata or the west end of Ottawa. I will definitely be going back 😄”

“The best bakery In Ottawa. Excellent service, very clean place, best meat, cheese and zaatar pies you can ask for. I go from Hunt club to Orleans to get my pies from them. Their pies are always fresh fresh , their dough is very soft. I strongly recommend this place, once you started getting their pies you will not go any other place.”

“The absolute BEST gluten free bakery I have ever been to, with the kindest owners! I ordered an angel food cake with strawberries on it, and 6 donuts, for my birthday. The cake and donuts tasted like heaven! My youngest child had a donut and said "These donuts were blessed by God!" I could not agree more! I've never tasted such delicious donuts! The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked! I've been on a strict diet for the past few months and have so been looking forward to indulging on my birthday! “Hosted my baby shower here and it was a real hit. Everyone was super impressed with the aesthetic and vibe of the venue. The owner was super accommodating, we were able to bring in our own food and decorate. We did purchase our drinks from the bar and ordered pizzas from the menu but it was nice being able to bring in other snacks and finger foods as well. The staff were all super friendly and professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for hosting parties.”

A chip shack that sits in a parking lot at the side of the busy Orleans road (St. Joseph's Blvd.) Limited menu, reasonable prices, tasty, reliable / consistent fast food - done right. Cash only / Closed on Tuesdays. Get there before 8:30 PM. My accomplice really enjoys their poutines and onion rings. Me? It's the naked fries. I always ask for them extra crispy and then dip them in their vegetarian gravy - as I scarf them back (one by one).”

I have had chicken roti, goat and j*** chicken with sides rice and peas, plantain and veg. A blessing to taste these hardworking and honest folks’ food. Don’t rush- this is not fast food.”
