Amano’s Italian Kitchen is a rose amongst the dandelions. A really good Italian restaurant in the bowels of Union Station. The decor is a little too modern for the Italian populari but the service is excellent and the menu is very inventive and there’s enough to keep vegetarians happy although vegans might have a challenge. The star of the show is a burrata. Served over oven warmed heirloom tomatoes and accompanied by thinly sliced, toasted garlic bread, this dish was a meal...
Surprisingly upscale and comfortable atmosphere for its location inside the bustling Union Station, this restaurant has phenomenal food at affordable prices.
The whipped feta, focaccia, and sandwiches were all phenomenal. More than anything though, the fries were some of the best in the city. All of this was made even better by fantastic service from Emily.
I highly recommend this to any travellers or even locals who might have underestimated...

Last night I went to Amano for the first time, and it was amazing! Our server Mollie was great and shared awesome recommendations. The burrata was incredible as was my pasta dish. Their tiramisu is one of the best I've had in a long time. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items... also, their location is perfect!
