lil' hops tavern Reviews
Was some of the best service I’ve received during this stressful time!!! Was just great :)
Great service and atmosphere, though food, while good and made in-house, required salt throughout. Not going to fault them for it though, and it's definitely worth checking them out. I would recommend the parsley fries...the sauce that comes with them is incredible.
My first time here. Walked to Main street on a Tuesday night but surprisingly the patio was busy. You could tell the waitresses were busy (still acknowledged you though). Managed to get a seat outside which was nice.
Ordered the brisket nachos I think it was called. exceptionally huge portion (looks messy) BUT tasted great. I would probably go back to try a few other things on the menu. Overall a pleasant experience on a summer night downtown.

lil' hops tavern is a cozy restaurant perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends. The atmosphere is great, with beautiful decor and yummy food. The drinks are well-made, and the beer selection is impressive, offering options like a flight to try different local beers. The Chicken lollipops and parsnip fries are delicious, while the pizza options, including the smokey duck with fig honey and the smoked chicken and bacon, are also highly recommended. The pizza bread is very crisp and thin, perfect for those who enjoy a crunchy crust. However, some improvements are needed. The avocado toast with peaches and poached eggs was mediocre, with cold eggs and unexpected green onions. Additionally, the music can be loud, making conversations difficult even outside. Service can be slow due to limited staff, but the staff is generally great, super kind, and prompt, even during the lunch rush. The fish is fresh, flaky, and the batter is perfectly crispy with no soggy spots. The oysters come with fresh horseradish and a hot sauce made in-house, very delicious! They have deals for oysters on Wednesday as well. The bartender/mixologist is a craftsman, knowledgeable, and is great to talk to. This is the only place that can perfectly prepare a Manhattan off-menu. The overall experience is enjoyable, with tasty food and a welcoming chef who ensures a good dining experience. The manager Tayler is dedicated to making events special and goes above and beyond for guests.
