Neon Flamingo Record Emporium is an absolute gem and a wonderful store with a quirky, eclectic, and friendly atmosphere. It is a cool store and a great place to shop and browse for a varied and significant vinyl record collection, record accessories, music decor, vintage items, used books, and neat little knick-knacks. The selection is vast, with tons to choose from and too much to take in on one visit. The layout goes all the way to a cafe in the back. The vibe can sometimes feel confusing and the space is pretty tight quarters. While the customer service is often described as top notch, prime, wonderful, and extremely attentive, there are occasional notes that staff can be unapproachable. The cafe was closed on a Saturday afternoon, and the shop was not open when it was supposed to be on a Friday, leaving some visitors unsure how the bar or food service works. Overall, it is an amazing store with a comfortable and welcoming environment, perfect for enhancing a collection.
