“My husband and I decided to book the first leg of our honeymoon at White Oaks. I booked a reservation at Liv out of the convenience of the restaurant being located on the property. We could not have been happier with our choice of restaurant. Cynthia and Eddie served us, and man did they serve us well. From a complementary bit of bubbly, to the extra hand towels between courses. Our servers made sure that we were well taken care of. It was an absolute delight. We decided on the couples special, 2 for 125. We started with the chef's daily amuse bouche, which was a cream cheese tart with berries. We had a bread and dip assortment, which included 3 types of bread and three different dipping options. All were delicious, and we couldn't pick a favorite. For an appetizer, I ordered the crab fritters- which for a person that doesn't like seafood, they were fantastic. My husband ordered the mussels, and enjoyed them to the last bite. For our main course, I ordered the chicken suprême, and my husband ordered the New York Strip. Both entrees were delicious and well seasoned, and perfectly portioned. For dessert, I chose the mocha creme brulee, and my other half got the lemon tart. I will say, that as a person who loves sweets, both desserts were not on the super sweet side, however they were still yummy. The atmosphere at Liv was everything we could want for a honeymoon dinner. Quiet, moody, and romantic. The service was top tier. The food was good, however I do have to say that the steak at Play, according to my husband was better prepared, and at a lower cost.“
