“Top Silog was kind enough to provide meal sponsorship for my short film, and I really appreciated their support. The food was fresh, tasty, and a big hit with our cast and crew.
The team was friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process simple. It’s clear they care about their customers and their community.
If you’re looking for delicious Filipino food and great service, I definitely recommend checking them out.“

“My family and I, went to Bangku for lunch as it is my Mom's birthday. I was born here in Canada but this place makes it feel like I was born in the Philippines. We ordered three different dishes and everything was cooked fresh and made to perfection. We received large portions which made our money's worth! Customer service here was top notch and everyone was so nice. My family and I will certainly be back at least once every week! Definitely a 10/10!“

“If you’re looking for some of the most authentic Filipino cuisine in the GTA, Kiko’s is a must-visit. This small, humble spot at Wilson and Bathurst serves food made with heart—you can see it in their presentation and taste it in the thoughtful, well-balanced flavors of every dish. Their cooking captures that perfect blend of “simple yet sophisticated,” delivering comforting classics with an elevated touch.
Portions are very generous, offering true “bang for your buck,” and the consistency of their food shows why they’ve been a staple in the area for so long. You might even wonder why they haven’t expanded, but it’s clear they value staying small to maintain the quality that sets them apart.“

“Popped in here randomly for a quick dinner. I'm so glad that I did. It's a small family owned restaurant with a cozy vibe and a dining area. It's Filipino fast food.I tried their lomi soup and it was freaking delicious. Easily made my top list of soups. It had lots fried meat toppings, fish balls and thick noodles. The soup was thick, eggy and extremely tasty. For $10, the portion was generous.I will be back!“

“Great bands, great singers, friendly staff, a great night out.“
“I've been getting food here for the last 30+ years of my life. What I love as an adult are their convenience packs of pancit, longanisa, adobo, beef steak, chicken skewers, kaldereta, and other dishes my wife loves. Just warm it up and serve over rice!
I rarely give 5 stars, and one of the reasons I give Marcys 5 stars is the wonderful hot table! Great selection all around, and I'd suggest the pork or chicken skewers. Tita Marcy, her husband, and the staff have always treated us well. They are awesome people! I would definitely recommend this place!“
“I love the pinacolada of Michelle it's not expensive during my 50th BDAY with food & venue“

“I've been a customer of this restaurant since they started their branch on Bathurst St. Over the years, I've watched the business grow, and I'm always impressed by their service, food, and ambiance. The friendly staff always put a smile on my face, from ordering to finishing my meal. The restaurant continues to evolve, introducing new menu ideas and popular Filipino desserts-to-go like Taho, Buko Pandan, and Fruit Salad. Kabalen is a true gem in North York, perfect for bringing visitors to satisfy their cravings - a home away from home. One drawback though, is the accessibility. The dining area is located upstairs and the washroom is downstairs in the basement. As a result, it is not advisable for wheelchair users to dine in. Nonetheless, the establishment maintains a clean environment and is conducive for group gatherings, or for individuals like myself, who just wants to unwind after a days work.“
