Kung Fu Tea on Steelestech (North York)

Honestly, the bubble tea scene around Steeles and Victoria Park is stacked, but the Kung Fu Tea at Steelestech is easily one of the most convenient go-tos.

The boba is always perfectly chewy, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. If you want something rich and heavy, the Oreo Black Warrior with ice cream is a total game-changer, but their fruit teas are super refreshing if you want to keep it light. It’s a super laid-back, quick-service spot with plenty of parking, making it an easy favorite in the area 🧋🔥🍪

I ordered the 38 Milk King, and it was really good! Everything was prepared well, and I really enjoyed it.

I always call to make sure the waffles are available. Whenever we go there, waffles are all sold out. We cannot order waffles. Remove it to your menu if you are not planning to sell it

We always come here to order drinks. My favourite is grapefruit green tea with agar bubble and lychee ice tea! We always come here not only because we love the drinks, but also because the service here is amazing! Especially Emily! She is best of best! She has sweet voice and always so patient to provide suggestions when we want to try something new. She always provides the best drinks and I can tell she is enjoying what she is doing! She is the one who making us always choose Kung Fu Tea!

Too much. Pearl milk tea is very bland and the pearl is hard to chew. 🥲

We had an unpleasant experience on Jan9, 19:08 with one of the staff members — a Vietnamese woman with glasses and purple hair. While we were ordering three drinks, she repeatedly said she couldn’t hear us clearly and kept asking us to repeat ourselves. Unfortunately, her attitude felt unprofessional, and she even rolled her eyes in front of us, which made us feel uncomfortable. We hope the staff can be reminded to be more patient and respectful with customers. Plus, the matcha I ordered is not mixed well. Hope the manager can improve the situation in the store.

I’ve been to many Kung Fu Tea locations, and this one is different. I’ve come here four times, and no — it’s definitely very plain, with too much ice. Today was no exception I bought two Ice Cream Warrior Super Simple, and half of the cup was just ice. It had no flavor at all, and they only added about 1/4 of actual ice cream. I regret buying them — it’s the only location where the drink is bad. Very plain and not worth going.

Impolite staff. No hot drinks in winter. Undercooked Egg Waffle.

The store was freezing cold inside, like a damn freezer. There were no customers, and the moment I walked in, the staff looked annoyed, as if I was disturbing their break. Not friendly, not helpful at all. No wonder nobody comes here.

Nice location hidden coming down busy 404. I come mostly evenings after work.
I prefer their fruity flavours, and always got paired with chewy aloe. Staff are generally helpful and eager to offer their drinks :)

Absolutely loved their oreo drink! The lady who took my order was very sweet and patient in explaining to me how the drinks are like. Would definitely recommend!

They need to fire the cashier woman. She has the worst attitude. Unfriendly and angry and impatient.
