“Awesome bakery and tends not to be too expensive! I love that their cakes are not too sweet, but are delicious and that they have unique cake flavors, like grapefruit mango, black sesame and rose cakes! I loved the rose cake, actually! I didn't know until recently that they also sell day-old baked goods in paper bags at the back of the store for $5, so that's nice too! Drinks are also good price, coffee is cheap and unique flavored lattes, such as black sesame latte, are good prices too. I keep coming back here, honestly!“

“Pro: Delicious food. Server is very nice and responsive. Very nice setting.
Cons: 1) There are only 3 teas to choose from, which is super lacking and not competitive with other high tea places. When picking the teas, the server showed a picture of how the tea looks like. The tea looked like they are not stored properly and just jammed in a closet. The herbal tea box looked unpleasant, so choice went from 3 tea choices to 2 teas. 2) washroom was not maintain and yellow everywhere. Server cleaned it after complain. Still very unacceptable as its a food place 3) Server is too new and need training. Don't get me wrong, she is trying her best and responsive, but she should not be left by herself while being new. She had to serve, greet and clean washroom.“

“My neighbour introduced me to Daan Go cake Lab. She purchased for her son & it was so delicious, I asked her where she got it. I don’t like super sweet cakes & it was just the right amount of sweetness.
I ordered the Dubai Nite for my husbands bday & we all throughly enjoyed it!!! It’s so delicious & unique. I will be ordering from them

“Stopped by on a whim to order a hot drink. I ended up with a matcha latte and a chocolate pistachio cookie. They really know what they’re doing here! Super impressed with the quality of the beverage and food.
I wasn’t expecting the cookie to be soft and not too sweet (big compliment to the baker). It was actually a Dubai chocolate style cookie with pistachio cream and knaffeh, with a layer of dark chocolate on top.“

“Great cakes, cupcakes and customer service. Mary was a pleasure to work with and was very detailed oriented and patient when showing her pictures of the designs I wanted for our wedding cake and cupcakes. We got vanilla on vanilla and they turned out amazing and tasted great too! I'm usually not a fan of buttercream but theirs was just perfect (not too heavy or sweet). We loved it so much we got some more cupcakes for our anniversary and recieved the same amazing service. Would def work with them again for future celebrations.“

“For fun lattes this is the place! Cheaper than most and with a variety of flavours we came back a few times. We really liked the Hawthorne berry iced coffee, but others also looked yummy. The guy working there was super helpful and they also have alternative milk, so we got to customize to us for the perfect drink.
Would recommend for takeout.“

“Highly recommended this little Malaysian gem kuih, nasi lemak and many more. Ayam masak merah was delish and the pandan chiffon cake was soft and very flavourful. We drove from Hamilton to try all the Malaysian goodies and all I can say it was well worth it. The Malaysian menu only available on Saturday and you need to pre-order by Friday noon to avoid disappointment. Menu is available on Instagram and Facebook on Thursday/Friday or you can WhatsApp for details. For Malaysians who miss home, please give Sugartiers a try. You will be surprised that every bite you taste either kuihs or nasi lemak, it will bring you back home.“

We were curious about their High Tea service, but we were informed that it needs to be pre-ordered. So, if you’re thinking of trying that, make sure to plan ahead and place your order in advance. It’s something we’d definitely want to come back for next time.

As for the desserts we tried, they were absolutely delicious. Each item we sampled had its own charm and flavor profile, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into their preparation. From presentation to taste, everything was spot-on. This is definitely the kind of place I’d love to come back to whenever I’m in the mood to indulge or simply hang out with friends over coffee and sweets.

The ambiance also adds to the charm. There’s a touch of elegance throughout, with gold accents that elevate the space and give it a refined yet cozy feel. Even their to-go coffee containers have a touch of gold, which adds to the overall thoughtful branding and aesthetic.

The mini cakes and the coffee was truly incredible and the service from Lucas was the highlight of my time in the cafe.
