“Would definitely go again, ingredients were fresh and well portioned between all the toppings. The size was perfect for lunch and at a great value. There weren’t any “filler” toppings, and the flavors was great. ( I asked for a recommendation and got the “it’s lit” bowl. Just spicy enough for me!) Staff was friendly and efficient. Quite happy with my first visit and looking forward to trying all types of combinations in the future.“

“Another order from Toro Toro, and once again, they delivered exactly what I was hoping for.
What I really enjoy about this place is that their sushi has its own identity. It’s not traditional or classic sushi, and that’s exactly what makes it interesting. The combinations are creative, flavorful, and different from what you find at a typical sushi restaurant.
Most importantly, the quality is consistently there. Every time I order, I know what to expect, and that consistency is one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

“I love how they allow you to substitute toppings at no extra cost! I don't like onions, so I always ask them to substitute it for avocados. My go to is the aloha classic with extra salmon.
Their portion sizes are really good for the price. The staff is always very welcoming. Would recommend either calling in to order for pick up or going in store to order.“

“Great restaurant! We tried the salmon sashimi and spicy salmon roll, and both were amazing. You can really taste the freshness and quality of the salmon—the sashimi was fresh, tender, and delicious. The spicy salmon roll was something special, with a unique spicy topping that added so much flavor. Definitely coming back! 🍣“

“Delicious restaurant with most menu options being gluten-free so only the non-gf items are marked. They have separate fryer for gluten-free tempura. They have gf soy and teriyaki sauce too. Very fresh fish. Loved the snow crab roll and sashimi combo. So glad we found this place for my celiac 7 year old who loves Japanese food.“

“Met friends at Lulu Bar on Wellington Street for recently and very much enjoyed the vibes, good cocktails and light bites to eat during their afternoon (3-6pm) happy hour period. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

“I love the sweet tofu poke bowl! I’ve lived in the area for two years and I’m shocked this is the first time trying the poke bowls here. The ingredients are so fresh, the owner is so sweet and you also get a free drink with a poke bowl! This is absolutely hitting the spot and I’m looking forward to trying the other specials soon. :)“
