Came in to grab a takeout sandwich. I tried the tuna sandwich on a bagel and it definitely hit the spot. The quality of the bagel was perfect and the staff were warm and welcoming. Will be back soon!
This restaurant is quite a local Hangout for most of the cultural community in the area. It's been around for over a hundred years but unfortunately it's a Creamery and the best you can do is toast pastries, creamery items coffee etc. but no meat. So if you're looking for bacon and eggs or steak and eggs forget it. Still good food if you're hungry at a reasonable price and one of the few restaurants in the area. The best part of this restaurant from my perspective...
I haven’t been here in a very long time as it’s not my favourite place to be. However, today I wanted to go for lunch with my mom and cousin. Everything was pretty good up until we hit the 45 minute mark when the busser started clearing our table and telling us to get the bill and leave because there was a big line up of people waiting to be seated. That was completely unacceptable, we should never be rushed out of a restaurant because there’s a line up.
