Went here specifically for halibut and chips late lunch. We were promptly greeted by our server and sat at our table of choice (only ones in the restaurant @ 2pm).Nice little ambience to this place, with a creek flowing across the back of the property.Our orders were taken and the food arrived hot about 10 minutes later.Halibut batter and fries were over cooked and very dark in color, I suspect they were cooked in old oil and did not have a fresh taste.2 orders of 1 piece halibut...read full review

Basing my review for Wednesday evenings, as it seems this is when I go. The food is always good, fresh. Service is friendly and quick, Connie always takes care of us! Definitely recommend.

This was my second time at Jack's in Norwood. The staff was nice but the food isn't tge best. One person at my table got the half chicken, the chicken was OK but that's about it. I don't like being negative about places but they need some improvement.
