Il Gelato di Carlotta Oakville

I spent a lovely afternoon here with my son today. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces.

While we were there, I overheard a difficult phone call with a disgruntled customer. Even though it clearly upset one of the staff members, both ladies handled the situation with so much professionalism and grace. One comforted the other while the second continued to stay calm, polite, and helpful on the phone.

It reminded me how hard customer service can be — and how important it is for all of us to be kind and patient. These two women truly went above and beyond to make sure every customer felt welcome.

We had mango gelato, apple strudel, almond croissant. They were all delicious and fresh.

Thank you for your great service and for keeping such positive energy even on tough days. You made our afternoon brighter ❤️

Amazing service

We visited just before closing time, and when we walked in the lady cashier and male employee didn’t even bother to greet us. They seemed engrossed in their conversation and didn’t acknowledge us at all. When I got home, I discovered they overcharged me.

I understand being tired at the end of the day, but basic courtesy—like a “hello” and checking the bill—is expected. Disappointed with both the attitude and the billing.

The best gelato in town. Cozy cafe lovely decor went their during a hot summer day the gelato was a saviour 👌

Gelato di Carlotta in Oakville is absolutely amazing! The gelato is so creamy, rich, and full of authentic flavour. The place was clean, cozy, and welcoming.

A huge shoutout to AISH, who made the experience even better! She was super friendly, patient, and helped us pick the perfect flavors. Her great attitude and warm smile really stood out and made the visit special.

Highly recommend stopping by, you’ll love both the gelato and the service!

Terrible gelato with small portions. Definitely not worth the price.

Best ice cream in town!

Cheapskates with no samples even with 5 gelato being bought. How does our two young children know what they wanted. Wasn’t even that good.

They add the price of 1 CAD cone to the price list at the entrance and they don't let you taste the varieties!!! This is not an Italian ice cream shop, in Italy you are not charged for a cone and you can try any ice cream you want. Also the prices are overpriced, even in the Italian ice cream shops in the center of Toronto, 3 scoops are 5.50 while here it is 7.99+1 cone. I will never come again.

My response to your reply: I have been in Italy for 12 years and visited 68 provinces and districts, this is not the Italian way of serving real ice cream. No money is charged for the cone and tasting is done, maybe as someone who has bought more than 500 ice creams in Italy, I have traveled enough in that country to know that not a single tasting has been done in 12 years, please be sincere.
