Il Gelato di Carlotta Oakville

I don't know why but gelato tasted very oily or greasy after taste wise. Also staff didn't mention the chocolate sauce was add on and not included and again it tasted really bad as if its poor quality.

Absolutely loved my visit to Il Gelato di Carlotta! The gelato was incredibly delicious, rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor. Every scoop tasted fresh and perfectly made, making it hard to choose a favorite.

What made the experience even better was the amazing staff. They were welcoming, friendly, and happy to help with recommendations, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.

The prices were also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. If you're looking for outstanding gelato and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Il Gelato di Carlotta. I will definitely be coming back!

A gem in downtown Oakville.

I went there and i tried cappuccino and pastry combo i got their pistachio croissant which was nice and crunchy and coffee was also really good and the staff is also very friendly.

Gelato servings are very small compared to La Dolce Vita up the street.

Very limited selection. Ran out of most flavours when we stopped on a Saturday night. Found Other nice ice cream options on the strip.

The gelato have rich sweetness. Salted caramel with caramel chocolate is perfect match. Not too sweet but balanced.

Yikes. I used to go here a lot, but not anymore. Staff made repeated assumptions, didn’t listen to what I asked for, and ended with a rude comment that felt belittling. Honestly, go find somewhere else to get gelato.

We have been here a few times and yet I was to be back again. I’ve yet to try some
of the other flavours. It sucks they don’t let you taste a sample and I don’t want to have some gelato that I don’t end up liking so I usually go my go to flavours that I’m confident enough to have. The presentation is just perfect and it’s very cozy!

Absolutely incredible gelato! The flavours are rich, authentic, and honestly the closest thing I’ve had to real Italian gelato outside of Italy. Every scoop tastes fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced — not overly sweet like many other places. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are always friendly and patient while you decide between all the amazing flavours. Oakville is lucky to have a spot like this. If you love authentic Italian ice cream, this place is a must-visit! There’s usually a lineup, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it’s 100% worth it once you taste the gelato.
