Love this lovely supermarket. Bakery is to die for and deli and cheese is fresh with very good selections. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. If you are in Oakville, stop by is must.
I live in BC and my daughter goes to Sheridan. She was very sick and I called Monica at Monastery bakery and she was so kind and helpful. She made sure that my daughter received wonderful food and flowers the same day. Thank you for the fantastic service. We will always order from Monastery bakery from now on.

Monastery Bakery & Delicatessen Ltd. is a beloved community staple, known for its artisanal delights and exceptional culinary offerings. The bakery's diverse menu features freshly baked bread, delicate pastries, and decadent cakes, each crafted with precision and passion. The cakes are to die for, and whether indulging in a flaky croissant or a mouthwatering strawberry sfoglia cake, the flavors are nothing short of divine.
The bakery section is phenomenal, offering Bob's bacon at a ridiculously discounted price. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to offer recommendations or engage in a cheerful chat. Customers can spend a few hours on the weekend and experience the welcoming atmosphere.
The establishment is very clean, with a deli counter, espresso bar, and a ready-to-eat counter. It is an Italian store, and customers can have their bread sliced for them. Plenty of parking is available, making it convenient for both locals and visitors.
The chocolate cake is delicious and soft, with a slightly dry sponge, but overall it is a nice treat. The cookies are crunchy and rich, and the prices are reasonable according to the cake sizes. Monastery Bakery & Delicatessen Ltd. is a must-visit destination for those seeking tasty cakes and satisfying sweet cravings.
