“My husband and I moved close to Orangeville from Toronto a little over a year ago. We had tried a few restaurants, and then we found The Bluebird Cafe and Grill. I remember the very first time we ate there, not only was the food unbelievably amazing- we were also told, "Welcome to the family." And they meant it. We've been going there twice a month ever since. The owners come by and check in with their guests, and we love all the staff (especially Sam xo). The meals are exceptional, and also affordable - which is a rare and lovely combo. So grateful we found The Bluebird.”

“Did take out at Harvey’s for dinner. The order taken home was wrong. They were very busy but they need to take the time to make it right. Called and they were very apologetic, they would re-do fresh if I could come back. But of course we were hungry and we ate what we were given. In that case she gave me a credit for a combo for next time. Great customer service. But what we found strange when eating our burgers was that the buns were stale. One part was so hard you couldn’t bite into it. That’s never happened before. With the turnover I wouldn’t have expected that.

Edit: I went back to Harvey's on the 27th. Made my usual order. I had initially forgotten about the credit that was given to me over the phone. When I got to the window I told them about it. A few minutes later I was given my food, no charge! And to take whatever time I needed to check my order. It was perfect. I must say Harvey's has one of the best Poutines in Orangeville. They know what is required. The gravy has to be hot enough to melt the curds and lots of gravy on top, job done! Great customer service and my hat goes off to Management as they have instilled a great work ethic. The customer is happy and he will be back!”

“Just want to share the most beautiful & gracious experience we had at the BVR last night! (02/12/2025) We had booked a party of 12 for my mums birthday at 6pm. But the storm hit. My mums best friend called to confirm our reservation & we were good to go. Show up to BVR & they have a sign saying due to the weather they will be closing at 6.. same time as our reso. While we totally understand everyone’s safety is important we at first were worried our reservation had been cancelled without our knowledge. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth. The restaurant, waitresses & chefs stayed open just for us. To serve us on my mums birthday celebration. We insisted a few times for them to close, but they said no we want you to have a great birthday. To them it might have been a small act, but to us it was huge. We are so so appreciative of this act of kindness. Our meals were top notch, the server was amazing & over all it was an amazing experience. Thank you all so much for staying open for us and for an awesome evening. 💖”

“I want to leave a comment here as I would love for the owner and employees to know I am NOT mad at their location whatsoever. Today they unfortunately saw some frustration from me due to the Head Office or Website Employee's mistake. I do want to let anyone reading this to know that this location does not accept Online Orders. They may do Skip The Dishes or Door Dash services I am not 100% on that but I am 100% on them not being able to accept Online Orders. HOWEVER, if they haven't fixed this by the time you read this, the Country Style website has this location as an option for Online Orders. They accept orders and charge you money but the restaurant will NOT receive this order. The restaurant was not able to compensate me at all, no refund nor a meal replacement, but I understand where they come from as it was not their fault, it would be a loss for them. This was Corporates mistake. If this location is still available for Online Orders directly from the website, do not order. I can not speak for Door Dash or Skip The Dishes. I just wanted to leave this here for the owner and employees at 50 Rolling Hills Drive to know that my frustration was NOT towards them at all. Thank you Yogi for leaving your number with me incase I do not get refunded by the company. I know we both understood each others concerns. I know this is the best you could do and that's enough.”

“Interesting anecdote; not long after we sat down with our drinks (it was busy so it took 10+minutes to get them) we heard someone yelling from the back of the adjoining Indigo bookstore and a teenage boy was escorted to the Starbucks counter - he had been pepper sprayed!! The staff behind the counter called 911 and offered him water for his eyes and gave him milk to drink. The police and paramedics arrived and he was taken away. Due to the acrid cloud that followed him, the staff at Starbucks apologized, offered to replace our drinks then requested we vacate the store to let it air out - little excitement in our otherwise dull day! Staff was very friendly and apologetic”

“We’ve always got Johnny’s pizza Orangeville for years. Usually take out. Recently we were having a surprise 60th birthday party as well as celebrating Super Bowls 60th. I decided it was very important to support local. They delivered 16 large pizzas on time and as always so delicious and hot. Friends and family asked where I got the pizzas, happily promoting Johnny's Orangeville. Thank you so much staff and owners for always giving us such a great pizza. See you again soon

“I absolutely adore going to Sushi Kaika. It’s my all time favourite place to eat and go for date night. I love sushi and have been to every place around but this place is the absolute best. All of the staff are wonderful and truly make me feel welcomed and special. The staff are what really makes this place so fantastic with their friendliness and attentiveness. Shout out to Ray who is such an amazing guy and goes out of his way to treat his customers with such high regard. The food is also excellent and made with such care. My favourite is the smoked salmon. 🍣 😋 I can’t stress enough how much I love this place. Thank you!”
