“Just want to share the most beautiful & gracious experience we had at the BVR last night! (02/12/2025) We had booked a party of 12 for my mums birthday at 6pm. But the storm hit. My mums best friend called to confirm our reservation & we were good to go. Show up to BVR & they have a sign saying due to the weather they will be closing at 6.. same time as our reso. While we totally understand everyone’s safety is important we at first were worried our reservation had been cancelled without our knowledge. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth. The restaurant, waitresses & chefs stayed open just for us. To serve us on my mums birthday celebration. We insisted a few times for them to close, but they said no we want you to have a great birthday. To them it might have been a small act, but to us it was huge. We are so so appreciative of this act of kindness. Our meals were top notch, the server was amazing & over all it was an amazing experience. Thank you all so much for staying open for us and for an awesome evening. 💖”

“My favourite restaurant in Orangeville. Delicious, freshly made in house food. Auntie Joy uses lots of fresh quality vegetables in her cooking. One of my favorite dishes is the hearty coconut chicken or shrimp soup, with noodles or rice and tons of fresh veg. I have tried all variations. Delicious.”

“Just had the best dinner at Forage tonight. A good friend dropped into town and we could escape for dinner. Exceptional service and our meals were on point ( she's gluten free and not an issue at all) Do not pass on the olive tempenade and fresh baked focaccia. Just an amazing meal.”

Parking: I suspect it gets busy in the mid day when everyone else is open being a strip mall. But evening not to worry. Had car trailer on and was easy to park.

“Happened upon this place yesterday. Drove into Otown to pick up an item from marketplace and caught the sign. Soon way out of town and stopped in for a medium. Loved it!!! Hubby said it’s the best pizza he’s had in the area (we are from KW) that tastes likes his favourite back home in Ottawa. So that’s a big win!!! We will be back for the lovely drive in better weather and pick up larger pizza next time.”

The turkey was fresh and flavorful, piled high just the way I like it, and the bread had that soft-but-toasty bite that makes every Firehouse Sub stand out. What really took it over the top were the hot peppers—just the right kick of heat without overpowering the sandwich. Every bite had the perfect balance of smoky, savory, and spicy. Definitely one of the best turkey sandwiches I’ve had anywhere, and I’ll be coming back for this exact combo again!”

“Can't fault it. Our group all had great meals including fish dishes but also souvaki as their menu is more than just fish and chips. I had cod, chips and a British special side called mushy pea all of which was excellent. The lady serving was lovely, friendly, helpful and attentive and it was nice and clean too.”
