“We stopped in at Broadhead Brewery in Orleans on a hot day. There was a live band playing which was a nice surprise. We tasted 4 different kinds of beer, with our favorite being the blueberry blonde, and Neipa. We enjoyed a beautiful and tasty charcuterie board along with warm pretzel bites and dips. While we sat inside to endulge in the air conditioning, they do have a really nice patio, equipped with umbrellas for shade, a bean bag game, and speakers to hear the band playing inside. Definitely worth a visit. T“
“The best under-the-radar brewery in Ottawa. We came here on a Tuesday afternoon for a shopping pit-stop, and we were not disappointed. We were the only people there. The woman working there was very helpful, cheerful, and smiley. She made us feel very welcome. The two IPAs we had were crisp, and the soft pretzel was a nice snack.“
“great smooth tasting beer...highly recommend!“
“It's a bit tough to locate OBC because it's in a plaza, but it's worth searching out.
Inside it's not huge, but there is enough seating on the two levels and feels very open. Outside there is lots of seating and it's covered too, which is great on a nice summer evening.
There's is lots of beer on offer, as well as wine, cider and hard seltzer for those who might not enjoy beer. The Kolsch and Hazy Pale Ale are my pick of the bunch. Certainly worth a try.
I did have dinner there too. I went with the Bison burger and it was great. Hot, flavourful and not too big. My date went with the chicken sandwich and she enjoyed that as well.
I wish I lived closer as they seem to do a lot of themed nights during the week. Thursday they do a new craft brew, only that night. That's a great brewery idea.“
“A good range of beers including some excellent approachable beers like the Cream Ale. Service is also excellent and friendly while the speedy delivery in Ottawa is ace.“
“I've had the great pleasure of being a fan of Dominion City Brewing for years now. What's sets these fine folks apart is not just excellent, and FUN craft beer releases, but the people behind it. They are wonderful.
Every visit to the taproom or community event I've attended is always in great company. Their seasonal releases, brewery collaborations, and awesome merch are backed with a ton of goodness. There's always a little something for everyone.
I take a BIG pleasure in being a regular part of their "Book Club" as well, and the discussions and people I've met have added a lot to my regular social calendar - something I look forward to each month!
My Friday nights just ain't right without a great brew from Dominion City ?☮️“

“Hi there, the waitress and staff were so great to accomodate our speed dating night. It was really great and so matches were made as well. Some coupled up. We had drinks for 22 or 25 and the staff were so nice to me that we want to do it again. My business strives with the Big Rig staff. Thank you so much.
Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and lactose free so loved the sweet patato fries there were really good.“

“Nice dog-friendly craft brewery. It was quiet when we were there on a weekday but it seems to have a good crowd. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried the ESB and oatmeal stout and both were great. There is no fod since dogs are allowed. It's a stupid government rule in my opinion, but I would have have more dog friendly places like this anyway. It's a great spot - we'll be back.“
