“First time trying, felt like something different. Partner and I got some King Burger combos to go. Average wait time, nothing out of the ordinary, staff was friendly, one of them was a lot of fun.

We get home with the food, it's still hot, fries are good, and the burger was really the star of the show.

I can't believe we haven't tried this place before. The King Burger truly lived up to its name. We got ours spicy which is usually a gamble but here it was spicy in the sense that it has a little kick without knocking the wind out of you.

I'm new to Ottawa and my shawarma standards are high because my hometown has amazing shawarma that no other spots have come close to and I've tried many places already in Ottawa. “I visited Amaya Express at Laurent Mall yesterday and had a really pleasant experience. I ordered the garlic naan with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The naan was soft, warm, and had just the right amount of garlic, and the chicken was flavorful and well-cooked – a perfect combo!
What stood out even more was the staff – they were extremely polite, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It's always nice to see good customer service paired with great food.

“We ordered the family platter for 4. Halal bbq beef ribs and pulled beef were great. It is a largely self service place with disposable dishes and plates but glad the utensils were of steel. Also liked the corn bread.“
