The worst cupcakes and cream puffs we have ever had. They were beyond stale. Never have I said that about a bakery’s treats. It was for a birthday so very disappointing. Do not go here unless you want bread because that is good.
I used to love The Bakers Table and would visit regularly for their amazing pastries and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been incredibly disappointing. It seems there's been a change in the kitchen, and the new chef is just not up to par. I have noted many positive reviews but my recent experience was far from positive. I ordered a banana cream birthday cake for my grandaughter. I do feel $40 for a 8 inch cake is pricey. Was going to purchase a couple of small meatballs at the deli until informed they were $4.50 each one. Decided to get veal on a bun for hubby's dinner but was inedible as the veal was so tough and chewy. It thrown out.
