The food was okay, and the service was good. But the price for the food was not reasonable. 6.5 for 1 taco, no cheese, no beans, no rice, just a small corn tortilla and a little meat. 5.25 for a half cup of rice with no flavor. Th platter of 10 tacos was small, 59$, and no sides included, and no garnish. It felt as if i was eating a snack, not a meal. 100$ bill, and I'm still hungry.Parking: Paid street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Not accessible.

As a first time visitor…. I honestly really don’t know fully how to feel about the food here. Maybe it was an expectation vs traditional food or maybe it’s just what I personally chose that isn’t the greatest item on their menu(chicken enchiladas with both salsas)….but for the price paid it felt like this was something I could easily whip up at home. The chicken was dry, but the combo salsas was a nice touch. Just feel there should have been more quality food for the price ($26) instead of what was served. The staff however were friendly and attentive so 4/5 stars I feel fits.

Stumbled upon this place randomly, glad we did. Inside, it’s a party, vibrant colour streamer, banners with the name Casa Mexico, colourful table covers. In the summer, they open up the sliding doors of turn it into a patio. We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived. We opted to try some tacos and quesadilla. Food arrived very quickly, In terms of the taco, we tried Tinga (chicken) & mole (nuts) I have to say mole was tastier. It was full of flavour. The quesadilla were a bit bland but parried with the sauces they brought to the table, it ended up tasting better. The highlight our meal was the drink, mango smoothie with Chamoy, takin, tamarind candy. This was so delicious , we couldn’t stop eating the candy. They have deals during the week, taco Tuesdays, margaritas Wednesday’s. Overall, worth checking out.Wheelchair accessibility: There were stairs leading up to the restaurant, there may be a ramp at the rear.

Great spot! We had the quesabirria which was really flavourful and delicious. Also tried a couple of the tacos - carnitas, pastor, pescado and barbacoa. The carnitas were our favourite, tender and juicy with a nice pork flavour. Service was friendly and the environment was really cozy and family friendly. The only reason for the 4 stars is that we would have liked for some salsas to accompany the tacos - they were missing that spicy zing without it and it seemed like an essential detail to have left out. Would definitely visit again!

Three of us just walked in at 7:30 on a Wednesday, the waitress watched us take our seats before sauntering over to say “We can’t serve you, we close at 8:00”.So that was that, the restaurant owner lost maybe $150 because the staff couldn’t be bothered. In honour of that we won’t bother going back.

Went with my boyfriend on a Friday night. The bartender was a lovely lady. Our sever was questionable. We got a giftcard for Christmas from someone as a present and when we went to pay for our food it took them awhile before they came over and said they don't accept giftcards at their preston street location. The person who bought us the gift card at their merivale locations specifically asked if we could use it at any location, as was told yes. The people who were working that night comped the 2 quesa birras we ordered and took my gift card to cover the comp they did. We also asked for Mocktail mojitos since we were dry for the month (7$ each on the menu), and they charged us 14$ for 2 alcholic mojitos. Which, by the way, didn't taste like it had a drop of rum in it. We paid anyway. When we arrived on a Friday night around 7:45, no one was in the restaurant. Two groups of 4 walked in after us, and they shut the open sign off because they ran out of food. I wish I got the bartenders name she was very friendly. The server said she's from the merivale location (emily) she walked up to our table and said, "What do you want?" It would be better to be asked what can I get for you. We more than likely won't be back.

My friends and I had dinner there last night. The dining room is small, seating around 40, but done up in class Mexican decor. We were seated by one of the two servers, both of whom were kind and knowledgeable. It was an exceptionally cold night and the furnace seemed to be struggling so it was a little cooler than you'd expect, but as more people came in the room got warmer.I had a margarita, made in the classic way but with mescal instead of tequila. It was very good! I followed with a veggie enchilada. It was excellent, served with black beans and rice. My only complaint is that the salad - chopped iceberg and sliced tomatoes, mostly - was spread across the 3 burritos instead of piled to one side. It was an odd presentation that could be improved. My friends had fried cauliflower tacos, which they had eaten before and love. And a quesadilla that they said was a little light on the cheese.By the time we left, the place was hopping and the food orders slowed a bit, competing for kitchen time with the online delivery orders that kept coming in.Overall, I loved the place (which also has locations in Nepean and Kanata) and will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Casa Mexico has received a reward for their celiac-safe food. They are very careful and I recommend it to anyone with celiac disease.

My Family is Mexican and took my Mom for her 86th Birthday Lunch. There was only a party of 8 people who finished and left shortly after we arrived. The service by one of the Servers was terrible. My poor Mom ordered a meal not realizing there would be sesame seeds on it which she could not eat due to health reasons. The Server made no effort to alleviate the situation for my Mother on her Birthday. She stuck to policy in a cold and unkind manner and we had to pay for two meals for her. My Mom felt terrible ? Our small party of three agreed never to return! As well, my cousin ordered her meal and said "no corn" and they added it anyway. Again it was due to health reasons. The ambiance is cold, cafeteria style as well. What a shame. The Hostess was kind and warm with my Mom. We all appreciated her ??
