“Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.“

“The food was very good, 👌🏽served hot, and the portions felt fair for what you pay. The team was welcoming, 😁checked on the table regularly, and made sure everything was okay without hovering. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it a nice spot to sit, talk, and enjoy a casual meal.“

“I have celiac so this is a chain I can have roast chicken and sauce. Roasted chicken without sauce is just not the same. That said it makes for a very empty plate and unfortunately the restaurant is not vey generous with the fries even though they don’t need to provide a bun. As a result, I’m still a little hungry when I leave (not the first time this has happened). A half chicken would be too much food so I wish they would at least provide more in terms of qty for the side dish, in this case fries, with the quarter chicken.

Atmosphere was fine but a portion of the restaurant needs some TLC.

“I ordered a steak medium. It came medium rare. She offered to put it back on the grill for me but I declined because the steak was already a little tough and I didn't want it to be tougher. My friend had her steak well done and she had trouble chewing but - well done steak - I didn't expect any different. The gravy was way to salty and hard to eat. The server was great, she left us alone and let us talk, filling out drinks when needed. We did have to track her down at the end for the bill but she got very busy and we were there a long time. I would recommend this place just not the steak. We both had cheesecake for dessert and took some home.“

“We visit this location every few months or so when we are in Ottawa to shop across the street at the Costco Business Center and I have to say they are the most amazing staff. Friendly and attentive. We were served by Terra (sp?) who was a pleasure to chat with. Food was hot and fresh and we did not have to wait long. She filled out drinks promptly as well. The loaded baked potato soup which is seasonal was amazing that we ordered 2 more soups to go to have for lunch the next day. I hope they decide to make it a regular option! I also spoke with one of the managers, Andrew, who was a delight to chat with as well. This location goes above and beyond for their clients and are so friendly like you are family. Swiss Chalet should be proud to have such a great team representing them and their brand!“

“Me & my workmates had a wonderful time here. The reception we received was great & our waiter was very kind, courteous and hospitable. the medium rare sirloin was on point, I balanced it with mushroom marsala sauce and sweet potatoes fries. The warm apple cobbler was a suprise- delicious 😋“

“Cat with a K at Milestones Restaurant truly made our Valentine's Day dinner a memorable experience. She was a spectacular waitress, attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful evening.

Her excellent service truly elevated our dining experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and Kat's exceptional service made the evening even more special. We cannot recommend her highly enough - she is amazing at what she does and made us feel like valued guests.
