“My wife and I come to The Royal Oak, Centrepointe, regularly and have always enjoyed the food and service. It's one of our go-to places. In November 2023, we hosted a birthday party for myself, with about 30 guests. We had an excellent experience! We ordered party platters to serve the guests and the food was great. “Our little family of 3 stopped in last saturday for dinner after a long day of fun at Cosmic Adventures. We were greeted by friendly hosts right away, seated in a nice area of the restaurant, then immediately attended to by our server Dan. Dan was on point the entire time we were here. Another gold standard of great table service. Our food and drinks were oustanding, timely and perfectly cooked. The fish & chips, tacos and pizzas were great. We are planning an evening at Scotiabank Theatre tonight to go check out the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire movie in 4DX, and we are gonna hit up Montana's again today for another round. “In the heart of Ottawa you'll find Warehouse in the middle of the Bywad market area. Had such a great dinning experience, service was fast spinach dip amazing. I got recommended this drink from a server and was such a great decision. Defiantly going back soon. A little price but great music and close parking makes it all worth it. A varied menu including pub fare, salads, entrees like salmon and fish & chips. “Regulars” make the place very friendly. Sports or major events are always on the large screen televisions. A regular “hang-out” for groups. Great pub to drop in for a drink, get take-out.Parking: Parking always available there or very nearby.“
“Went there three times. First two experiences were great. But the third one, not so much. The bartender lacked the basic social interaction (no how are you, no welcome to the royal oak, no how is your day etc) and cut me off after a single hour. “I’ve enjoyed many meals at HPH but was especially pleased with today’s brunch. I ordered the Smokie with eggs (Grilled Seed to Sausage Jalapeño & Cheese Curd Smokie/Poached Eggs/Crispy Potatoes/Pickled Onions/Tomatoes/Fresh Arugula Salad/Crème Fraiche). It was excellent. I was a bit surprised at the *heaping* pile of arugula but maybe that was a good thing in terms of my health. ;) The sausage was very good and the potatoes were crispy as promised. I can’t recommend this place enough. It has a great vibe, friendly service, good menu…. Basically everything you’d want from a neighbourhood restaurant. I strongly recommend making a reservation! The place was packed by 11:30 on a Saturday.“
“We had the turkey cranberry with delicious brie cheese. However, the cranberry mayonnaise was just regular mayonnaise. It could definitely use some improvement. The service was good, but a bit slow, as if there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant, which felt crowded, almost like we were all sitting in the same room together. The prices are affordable. The desserts were delicious, we recommend apple crisp and cheesecake.“
“We visited from Toronto and had a great evening . I had just had dental surgery and our server was sooo kind to me bringing lemon hot water and honey . My sister and daughter enjoyed some drinks, a shot ( mine was fruit juice only /thank you to our lovely bartender ) , and some amazing food . Atmosphere was fun and the evening was very enjoyable . We managed to get happy hour pricing - lucky for us we were there at the right time . My fellow diners ( I couldn’t eat anything ) love the Natchos and blackened chicken.“

Our staff member from our recent visit was great and remembered us from times before having dinner at Milestones. “Have gone many times mainly because we use our comps from casino to pay for meal. The food is very good. We enjoyed Caesar salads and lasagna. The service is always excellent and many times we've been looked after by Tanya who goes above and beyond every time. She has been an employee at Rideau Carleton since the buffet days and has always been extremely helpful. We will continue to go there on casino nights“
“This is our local Oak location. We really like the food and atmosphere here. I was at another RO location in the city a couple of days later, and none of it was near as good as the hunt club/uplands location.Kid-friendliness: The kids absolutely love the kids' fish and chips. They're 9 and 3, so finding a clear winner for both is a PitA.“

The fish was excellent, and while the fajitas were good, I'd rate the steak 4 out of 5. Although some parts were tender, others were a bit tough. The dessert provided a satisfying conclusion to the meal. I appreciated that the dishes weren't greasy or overcooked. The overall atmosphere was enjoyable.“
