The staff was amazing and the atmosphere…food really good but having said that the waiting for food was way to long and even came back and ask what we ordered and for 4 people it was not what I would expect…. It is not a place I would go back as it’s not well run.

I was really disappointed with my visit here. We ordered 5 tacos and ended up waiting for 50 minutes without receiving our food. Staff told us it would take longer, but they didn’t give any clear timeframe. I don’t think anyone should have to wait over an hour just for tacos, so we decided to leave. Poor service and lack of communication made this a frustrating experience.

I had such a great experience at El Camino! Our server, Mia, was amazing, so friendly, attentive, and really made the whole dinner even better. The food was incredible too, the tacos were packed with flavour, the corn was seasoned perfectly, and the chips with guac were fresh and delicious. Everything came out quickly and Mia checked in just the right amount, which made the service stand out just as much as the food. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

I've been to Ottawa only twice in my life both times I stopped in with my lady we ate and loved the food so much we had to buy a beer cup for a souvenir the second time I was explaining to the servers I loved there beer cups the nice people that worked there bought us our second cup can't wait to visit again 🙏

Been to both locations many times. The ox tongue, the pork belly, the Japanese eggplant and the super expensive tuna tartare are all essential. Those 4 are the best of their kind in the city. They have good cocktails (I have heard from dates) and there beer selection has something for the craft beer drinker, but mainly limited to lager and an ipa. Wine as well, but I can't remember the quality. Another huge draw for me is the shrimp wrapped in betel leaves. Be warned they are a little greasy, but I dream about these things. So delicious. Last visit we sat on the rooftop patio. Great view. But the downstairs inside or outside is funky and nice as well.

I’m really upset cause this was my favourite restaurant until they changed the quesabirria taco into pork instead of lamb. I would come here all the time I told everyone about it and now that’s changed because of that. I wish there was two options so people who can eat lamb enjoy it not being changed to something not everyone can eat.:(
